Agree there were the better team but non calls that result in goals just kill you.Umpiring did not affect result.

Listening to Sam's presser they tried to mix it up a bit hit zone wise but didn't workMeeksy should have gone the old fashioned thump it forward 20m out of the ruck.
The only time we looked like getting a centre clearance was when Chol jumped and got the ball out of the ruck and kicked it forward himself.
Umpiring did not affect result.
Was very quick witted and funny in the momentDoes Sam have a premiership tip?
"Nah, I hope they all lose"

It’s a fools errand to try link the final score to each umpiring decision
There was a 5 minute patch in the second quarter where a string of genuinely bad umpiring decisions went their way. Before that we were up and about and looking like blowing them away
If Gunston’s goal counted, or those weird calls go our way we are 30 points to the good at halftime. The Sicily interference and the inverse non-interference call (on the wing, can’t remember who) were massive swings.
They might have still mown us down but to say it didn’t play a factor because of the final score is a little too far
There was a patch where Meek was taking clean first possession from ruck contests near the boundary line in Geelong's half and coughing it straight up.Meeksy should have gone the old fashioned thump it forward 20m out of the ruck.
This. Geelong's defence inside our 50 looked vulnerable all night but we couldn't generate enough entries. In the end 40 inside 50’s is not going to get it done
I kept yelling at the screen for meek to thump the ball away from the clearances, but he kept trying the same thing which played in to geelongs hand.Still can't get over the centre clearance differential. Crazy.
Thought Nash and Moore did well. Stats flatter Meek imo. Sharked us like crazy.
No no noShould we go after Jaidyn Stephenson?
BwhahahahaShould we go after Jaidyn Stephenson?
Agree to an extent but Scott has coached Geelong for 14 years, and they had that long to refine their list and enjoy the extra trapping$$$ they get from Cotton on, a billion dollar company that pours cash into the cats like the Barwon River. You can only play with the cards in your hand and Scott had a better hand. New digs, new lessons and new traded players and we will be in a similar space and possible contest for as long. Keen to see what these lessons bring Billyc, you learn most when you lose.Lesson everywhere - for players, coach and club. The question is how much is learnt.
Hopefully Sam learnt plenty. Scott did him over. No shame in that. Scott is currently the best coach in the game. He came in with clear plan to neutralise our advantages - clamped Newk, planned to concede the tap to Meek and made that ineffectual, hard tagged Weddle and stifled that run and then just went to town at the stoppages with Dangerfield and their bigger bodies; absorbed our best hits in the first half and then torched us with their superior run as the game wore on.
I feel the only real match up win we had was Gunston who looked dangerous all night. But otherwise Scott planned for everything and executed it. Mitch had no answers
Hey guys, excuse the intrusion, I just wanted to come in and say great game, and yeah...suck shit you losers
Ha I wanted to say something immature like this as well.Ok ok one more play on the man rather than the ball:
I hate that the whole Cat’s team are all lookalike surfer NPCs, stop spawning in boring zero personality George Horlin Smith regens
Your team was better on the night. So why be total f**wit about it?didn't see the umps themselves winning many clearances, surely mr September jai in his youthful prime should do it easy over a 36 year old?! surely!
