From what has been posted its looking likely to be 2 First Round picks and Florent for Curnow as it stands. Might be some minor picks exchanged to suit current and future academy/FS needs for both clubs, ie our picks next year for their picks this year
Ah well, they can just get no player and worse picks with the Cats or keep a disgruntled Curnow when they aren't challenging anyway. They wont accept that imo they will likely consider Florent as just steak knives to the deal.

I wonder if, in the unlikely event the Curnow deal falls through, that would have any impact on the Jack Buller situation?
I imagine he would be left with no choice but to nominate for the draft?
That is by intentionGiven the amount of time its taken for us to offer its very likely its a take it or leave it as in we wont be improving if its knocked back
There wont be a trade request or nomination. The deal will be done if Carlton agree with the offerI imagine the club would be hoping to woo Charlie in today and trigger a trade request
I think if you didn’t have dean and walker you would be more likely to hold him. There wont be a trade request or nomination. The deal will be done if Carlton agree with the offer
I don’t think so. I firmly believe the reason the “official” offers are taking time is because the deal won’t be a simple one between Sydney and Carlton - it’s likely to involve multiple clubs, which means it takes time to ensure all parties are satisfied with the moving pieces. That is by intention
Depends last reports were Collingwood are baulking at offering their 3rd round pick which is 61
Well if they value him more than us, which would have been their selling point to him, they can cough something up, or he has a choice to re-sign or navigate the PSD.Depends last reports were Collingwood are baulking at offering their 3rd round pick which is 61
I didn’t mean you were getting a worse deal.I don’t think so. I also think it’s a bit naïve to assume Carlton and Sydney haven’t already had discussions and established a baseline understanding of what would be needed to get a trade done.
This is a major move for the Swans, bringing in a player of Curnow’s calibre (and also for Carlton to be trading him out). They wouldn’t be leaving it to the last minute without a well-structured plan which includes contingencies like Plan B, C, and D.
What is the point in doing this, just ridiculous, rather get something than nothing. If that’s the offer send him to the PSD even 61 is a terrible out one
We could send him and then resign in him PSD….What is the point in doing this, just ridiculous, rather get something than nothing.
He's an out of contract depth player, not worth making a huge deal and pissing off other clubs and player managers because of it.
Who ?Leave them alone seriously
And i bet Mckirdy never spoke to a playerHow to make an article out of one Instagram post
Pick 61 is nothing though. What is the point in doing this, just ridiculous, rather get something than nothing.

Can use it on-traded for Serong or part or some other deal, we paid basically nothing for Rosas and will pay basically nothing for Serong, I'm not sure why we expect Collingwood & Buller to be any different.Pick 61 is nothing though.
Why should Collingwood be allowed to piss off other clubs and player managers by offering up nothing?

Honest question , do you post on your board ?There wont be a trade request or nomination. The deal will be done if Carlton agree with the offer

Pick 61 is nothing so what’s the difference
Second round (at worst their second for our third) or make a statement.
