I am officially taking bets on which deal Essendon will miss out on cause Sheedy couldnt get to the fax machine in time before Friday's trade deadline. Or because he dialled the wrong number, or the paper got jammed......yada yada.

we missed out on Alvey - he did his knee that year and now look at the dud.

he couldn't trade Misiti - thank god for that.

Actually it was Miller who "took the wrong turn" not Sheedy. Don's offer was on the table for a while and Miller stalled.

I wish we got Alvey before he did his knee. Before he did his knee that season which was like round 6 or something he was averaging well over 20 possessions a game from memory. He was a good player, but hasnt had the opportunity at Essendon, and the knee reco really is something that has shot his morale.

I cant remember what the Misiti trade was but his later years of his career were nothing amazing.

True, but there's more room for improvement in Henneman as a quick dominant impact midfielder.
