Stop fearing the crows Cookee!
Trust me, I couldn't give a crap about them, I just disagree. I was disappointed in Marshall today, and Fogarty was killing us. Fog would've had 15+ touches, 7-8 marks, and Marshall probably 7 and 2.

I love Marshall, just like everyone else and I agree he seems better suited to the game into the future, and I also agree Fogarty is over rated for a guy that only delivers 8 touches and a goal a game on average. However Marshall is yet to do anymore than that yet, they are both super young, and today Fogarty was far more effective and he hurt us today. So what I'm saying is giving Fog crap, but building up Marshall after today is a bit hypocritical.

I'm going to have to watch the replay because i thought Fogarty had zero impact on the game. Granted i was more focused on watching our players but i only remember him with the ball in his hands about half a dozen times

Let's be honest Fogarty looks ahead of Marshall and im a big fan of Marshall and think he will make it

Nah. You can already see Marshall has another dimension to his game as a forward. Those hands below his knees.

I mean... no.
Looking at the stats below, it suggests that Marshall looks ahead (albeit slightly) having played the same amount of games in both of their careers.
Key difference obviously being that Marshall has had 2 seasons so far to prove his worth, but he's had a ****ing parent die in both years.

edit: And building on this. Fogarty has all the form to suggest he's going to be a good player. But besides being forward of the field, they have very different playing styles anyway.

So basically Marshall does in 60% ToG what Fogarty does in 80%.

Thanks for coming ;)

I still have NFI how to use ToG% as a metric (its extremely contextual I spose) but I think the loss of both of Todd's parents is extremely horrible at a young age and I'm surprised he's even still in the AFL system. The fact that he's still chugging along in spite of that says a lot about his character. I am extremely optimistic about his ability.

I think Lokan said McKenzie got a concussion, not a shoulder injury.

Surprising. Happened right in front of me and he went straight for the shoulder and was cradling it as he came off. Was probably on another planet and naturally concerned about his shoulders and was checking to see they were all in place lmao.

I can’t feel me arms mate

I don't know how we'll go this year. And I'm not that confident to be honest. But what I do know is that our future looks in very good hands. Howard, Bonner, Houston, Drew, Rozee, Duursma, Butters, Marshall - that's a genuinely strong nucleus of young players that have the potential to grow into a strong team, if developed/coached halfway properly.

SPP, Burton even Ollie...

They've been saying that since the game finished.

Its on the crows website, but i do feel a bit dirty having to go there and watch it.
Be careful. If you watch it from their website it's likely you'll be counted in their membership tally this year

This is just blatantly untrue. Prior to the tragedy with his father, Marshall kicked as many goals in three and a half games last year as Fogarty kicked in ten.

I do think

I do think he struggled a touch being the “go to” guy from what I saw (didn’t properly watch the second half as I was out so I’ll re watch)

He’ll benefit a huge amount playing along side one of/both of Ryder and Dixon.
