We need to attach a home detention ankle cuff to Brandon Ellis. F kn hit him with 240 volts if he even thinks of heading into our defensive 50. Why Dimma continues to put him there does my f kn head in

should have a sniper out the front of his house and take him out as soon as he steps out the door

That’s hot

After the performance and now injury/suspension it should be

Out: Weller, Markov, Ellis (all spuds), Jack (inj), Grimes (susp)

In: Moore/CCJ, Baker, Ross, Garthwite, Balta.

In reality it’ll probably be

Out: Jack & Grimes
In: Menadue & Soldo

Grimes given a week 🙃 next week will be fun...

Outs: Grimes, Riewoldt, Markov, Butlrr
Ins: Balta, Garthwaite (if ready), idfk who else

Balta in is a must. Nank needs support in the ruck and could also play at either ends

I doubt Balta will play Dimwit said we don't need a second ruck so I guess Butler will be relief rucking.

Markov was poor but is playing for his career. He needs a few more games. Castagna just one game stays in. Ellis wasn't as bad as Dusty.

markov goes straight back out for bachar
castagna can suck a fat one in the twos with his bum butler
ellis isn’t dusty, he’s done, piss off, see ya l8r, get the fk out of here, arrivederci

I agree I don't understand what the hype is all about
We have gone backwards since he came in.

That's not right our midfield was getting exposed towards the backend of 2018 we think it's fine ,but look at the stats clearances and first use of the ball, tackles and pressure etc. There not working hard enough.Lambert been poor,Martin out of form, Prestia not great,Graham etc.We don't fix this were in big trouble.

I think we need to take a big breath and take in a few things.
1)The Pies match up extremely well on us
They have modelled their game on ours but now have a stronger and deeper midfield than we do.

2)We are very under done
Our preparation is behind where it was last year. Players are clearly underdone and out of touch including Lynch, Dusty, Butler, Rioli and Broad. This will definitely improve as the season progresses.

3)The Pies played a 'keepings off' game that we did not cope with.
We are their GF and they have spent a great deal of time picking through our game plan and training to break it down. Unfortunately for them, they will come undone against other top sides that they are not prepared for. We now need to adapt our game again to defeat the tactics they are using against us ie man up on defenders and push up our backmen.

4)We are still learning how to play in the absence of Rance and with a new forward set up
We have a new forward set up and are missing our No 1 Backmen for the first time in years. It was always said that it would take time for our forwardline to gel. This problem is compounded atm because Lynch is lacking confidence in his knee and is staying in the F50 for the majority of the game making us predictable. This will change when he roams up the ground more and we once again switch our forward set up around regularly. Rances absence means Garthwaite will get a chance to set up but of course he is injured atm - murphies law! That will change too.

5) We did not have an opportunity to play to our strengths
Collingwood did not allow us to play the way we prefer. Carlton tried to use the same tactic against us last week. We will need to adapt and improve. I back our coaches in to do this though their job atm, given our injures, has been made that much more difficult.

I think we will struggle early but as long as we, as supporters, and they, as a club, focus on the bigger picture, we will be fine. It will just mean a little bit of short term pain before things start to gel and we begin to adapt. Dimma and our players did not suddenly lose their ability to coach & play just because we have started the season off slowly and had a bad loss.

" Don't want to carry a genuine second ruckman. That's not how we are. Jack and Lynch need to ruck ".Dimma quote last night silly thinking and we haven't learned from last year that's it's horses for courses at times. No issue , but play support at least for Nank not your two best forwards with one coming back from a bad injury to.

I hate losing to Collingwood :(
We all do, however, the game is far more fulfilling when Richmond and Collingwood are up and about, has been since I started following the Tiges in 1967.
The wins are sweeter and the losses are so bitter! It's what supporting top level sport should be like.
GWS next week and if we lose it will only hurt because of the points lost... last night hurt badly because it was more than just points lost.
