Other than the obvious positive of watching Cunnington going into God mode, literally the only good thing about today was seeing LDU become an AFL player before our very eyes. He looked Judd-like at times. Expecting him to go from strength to strength from hereon.

Then, of course, is the rest. We are full of list cloggers:

- Tyson
- Pittard
- Campbell
- McDonald
- Turner
- McKay

Jy needs to either play as a pressure small forward or hit the VFL.

And Ahern isn’t best 22? Haha. We are a rabble.

Bleh.

Improved on last week. Mckay looked more composed and less lost at sea. Brown played noticeably better (took a while to get in gear) but still has a way to go. Our first quarter was actually pretty good, when we had a nearly 2:1 Kick to Handball ratio and 1 in 3 forward entries was a mark. Hall and Polec are rolled gold. LDU didn't just build quite nicely, he legit would have been in our top 5 on the ground. Cunnington was a monster inside and his disposal was beyond great, also displayed his marking and goalkicking nous, could have done a bit better defensively at times and maybe a bit more disciplined but **** me I am beyond happy with what he put out. Campbell was actually pretty good for his first game with us, and not just for what he gives to our team balance.

Jy needs to be sent to the VFL. Not sure if he needs to be screamed at until he cries or given a hug and told to play how he used to and enjoy himself. Bar one piece of footwork he was absolutely horrendous. So many unforced errors including direct turnovers. Goldy was destroyed in the ruck. Higgins had it on a string but it honestly seemed like an utterly forgettable game.

What? Used the ball poorly at times, but was in our best 3. If we've got 45 bloke on the list and a coach, he's about 45th in line in terms of our biggest problems.

Pretty disappointed but I thought the Lions were just a little bit better when it mattered.

Pre-season injuries and underdone players have some part to play in it but mainly overuse of the handball and poor skills and coaching.

Thought McKay did quite well considering he's playing on an 80 game player in his 3rd game. Need to live with some growing pains for now.

Lmac decision making was disappointing but I'm not sure who comes into that defense other than Murphy given Marley is like to be injured. Could Dumont play in the backline or one of those mids. I don't know but if Marley's out I doubt LMac will be dropped.

Simpkin was poor. Should be dropped for sure to get some confidence at vfl level.

Campbell did ok but I think one thing about Larkey is he makes leads away from Ben Brown so I'd like to see him get a shot soon.

Doesn’t like tackling and often runs forward at stoppages before we have won the footy...

Wow, you guys are a tough crowd. I thought we did alright in the first Half, and Polec and Hall had me cheering, as did Kanye. Thought his first Quarter was really good, and overall I think we're miles ahead of what we served up last week, thank god. Geez, imagine if we play that Ahern kid!

Match moment was TT's goal. Well, his mum's reaction actually. Gold.

Thumbs down to having to watch Hodge all night. And as much criticism as Jy is copping, at least he was first to remonstrate the good bloke for slinging a first gamer half his size. I don't think there's anything wrong with Jy's Shinboner spirit.

Anyways, call me crazy, but I've got all kinds of faith in us. Bring on those Hawthorns. We always scare them anyways.

feeling absolute crap, went last week but somehow felt worse watching a game we should win just fall out of our hands. Long season ahead dont give much hope against hawks. some good signs Hall, pollac, scott we have def added to the group but too many players that should be stepping up are not.
