RFC GloryJC didn't have a good day....

Who is the best key position intercept defender coming out of contract?
Thinking caps on boys and girls.
This will be fun. Is anyone listening?
That is a good suggestion.
For next year, I would be looking to recruit a key intercept defender, say ideally 22-24 years old, that way don't you don't have to pay a premium.
Four years in the system is enough to develop.
Still no responses, strange? I'll try again
In terms of a key defender, the player who was impressive from the Lions, among many, was Daniel McStay. Out of contract.
OK OK, I'll just tell them...
I saw McStay recently.
He is impressive.
He is already on the radar.
Guys seriously!!!!
Daniel McLeave or Daniel McStay that is the question
Finally BDF responds to put RFCGlory out of his misery :p

Sorry, just had to stir you a little bit mate.

Interesting suggestion, he would fit in very very well, maybe it's just a little too early for these talks... everyone seems to be fried given the injury toll. Tough times.

We're gonna bring in soldo and play Nank full forward all game
That's a real possibility.

Out: Reiwoldt In: See above or Moore/Balta
Out: Grimes In: Garthwaite
Out: Butler, big fan but... In: Bolton, let's see if the kid has what it takes.
Out: Markov In: Houli, PLEASE!

We are still a good team and talk of 6/7 changes at 1/1 is over the top.
Caddy badly missed, has more mongrel than the rest combined.
From the Collingwood debacle Martin, Castagna, Lambert, Rioli, Graham, Higgins, Prestia will all play better and I really didn't think B Ellis was all that bad!

Ellis was rubbish.

Can we make top for from 1-3 start ?
From a literal standing, a 19-3 record has been enough for top every year since 2012 so yes.
From 1-3 we could probably hope to go 16-6. If we start turning it around this week we should be able to knock off Sydney and Melbourne in 5-6 and then build from there.

In all honestly though, I don’t think we’re going to need top 2. Geelong and Collingwood have looked the strongest so far and if they finish top 2, we know where the finals will be played.

EDIT just noticed you said top 4. In which case 15-7 will do it which we can do easy from 1-3

lol syd and melb will beat us

Hmm I’d actually like to see him play a key defensive role before determining that , crazy I know
Why the bloody hell should he have to play a key defensive role anyway? He’s just got to try to win a senior spot first otherwise show something as a key position player at VFL level which he hasn’t.

We are going to miss jack not only for his brilliance but his defensive efforts too.
Imagine Lynch and a rusty Caddy together? The ball will be pinging out of our F50 all day long with no pressure.
