And so it should. The 2026 grand final is a long way away. Plenty more to discuss, like why did Dangerfield pull a disappearing act.
Why was Bailey Smith like the big bad wolf, all huff and no puff ?
Prove the comment by CS. He is a very gracious loser, and good friends with Marcus Ashcroft, and Adrian Fletcher. He highly rates their sons, and has often acknowledged Geelong's history with F-S's. I find it weird that people can enjoy the misery that people feel when games are lost.Cats would very likely not have 4 AFL flags right now sans father/sons. Foolish comment by poor loser C Scott.
It's a fun fact that the Cats would probably be back 2 back premiers if not for the Lions.
Maybe an attitude thing, but I would never hang it on opposition supporters of any losing team after a GF.

What are you on about?Stuff that, the attitude by Geelong pre match was horrible. Geelong ate humble pie and have to live with it forever!
I didn't see any attitude pre game by supporters or team- very worried, circumspect, and with good reason.
Danger leaning on a fence chatting to 7 journos pre game showed how serious he was taking itStuff that, the attitude by Geelong pre match was horrible. Geelong ate humble pie and have to live with it forever!
I saw Danger sipping fluids while teammates warmed up; 10 minutes into 1st quarter he's down to the rooms to ?? vomit, crap, who knows? He was crook and cooked, and I for one did not expect him to back up after the Prelim.Danger leaning on a fence chatting to 7 journos pre game showed how serious he was taking it
Fair enough- we have many overconfident supporters, and I am not one of them, and I do not respect it, but looking at our BF board in GF week, you'd have thought we just scraped into the GF.I saw the opposite from supporters around the traps and Geelong folk in the media. Confident that the Grand Final result would echo what happened in the Qualifying Final.

I'm sure you're not alone into feeling joyful that we were smashed.
Can guarantee you that I went nowhere near your board after the Prelim- just no benefit in lording it over any team any time. I see Hawks as big contenders again next year, but not sure any team is up to the Lions at their best.

Yes, proved that in their last 3 finalsCongrats to the Lions - far too good for a very very poor opposition.

Some real hatred there.![]()
Cost of the Victory Pack: $62.99
Watching Geelong get thrashed and the Brisbane Lions treating Dangerfield and Smith like witches hats = PRICELESS
..........
Have always had admiration of Hawthorn, Brisbane, Collingwood.I semi recycled the same joke when I got the 2024 victory pack in the 2024 grand final thread as well![]()
Probably the worst aged post in the whole of big footyLachie Neale has selfishly put himself ahead of the team. Not a chance in hell his calf is anywhere remotely close to ok.
Geelong will flog them.
