Has been playing well but I have noticed he seems to have lost a little of his pace / dash.
Makes sense, he was already an elite runner and moving into an elite training regime would have done nothing to improve it but the added weight would slow him down.
 
Funnily enough, I thought he used it very well in the Hawthorn game.
He did. On Saturday he looked a bit flat footed and lacked a little zip at times.
 
My main issue with him is how he keeps his jumper slightly upturned at the bottom so there's a white line along the bottom. C'mon Pidge!!
yes! it is so noticeable! is it a thing with the youth?

The other thing that I've noticed is he isn't really stringing four quarters together consistently. He'll have a massive half and then be fairly innocuous the following half (or vice versa).

In fairness on the weekend he shifted back a bit in the second half to cover for Redman and Hind and didn’t have to do a lot.

I sometimes forget that he’s also an exceptional small defender.
