What do we do about Lewis? I honestly think at this point Ramsden is the best option of our KPF's.

Lewis was fine after the first. Was really competitive and did some good things in the 2nd.

Lewis is being used to keep his opposite honest. His role if he can't mark it is to bring it to ground but mainly to not allow his man to cheat and help out against Gunners and Chol.

Forgot to give a shout out to Lord Meek in my summary. Was a big game from the man mountain.

As I’ve said so many times already I reckon you could trace our trajectory from losing the first 5 games last year to making the prelim exactly exactly in synch with Meek locking in as our number 1 ruck.

Gives a physical presence every single game which we were sorely lacking in that space.

he did what was required, had he kicked that goal it would have been amazing for him, was there as a role player in the forward line and bought the ball to ground around other parts creating contests...he'll be ok..

Just an all round amazing game to witness.

It was clinical by hawthorn.

Dominated the contest, levels above skill wise and very strong defensively and offensively.

• Butler fantastic, superb tackling and nous around goals, his pace aswell good
• Newcombe is Jesus Christ himself
• Wardy unbelievable, did it all right, all round elite performance
• Meek dominant in the ruck and around the ground
• Gunston, ageless wine just so good
• The D50, JB, Scrim, Sic, Barrass, Impey, Amon, Hardwick strong unit
• JB dominant
• Scrims cleanliness, aerial dominance and skill superb
• Sic the general was fantastic
• Imp and Amon quieter but still good
• Hardwick unbeatable and ever reliable
• Wiz, rapid pace, elite skill, toughness and just that extreme xfactor that determines finals.
• CMac strong game again
• Weddle could’ve had 5 and was great as that wing going fwd
• Moore was really damaging and had a strong game
• Worpel & Nash strong inside games were crucial.
• Chol and Lewis competed really well.
• Ginni quieter but everyone knows how good he can be.
• Mass a decent game, great toughness but let his elite standards drop skills wise.
• Jiath provided run and coverage but ?

Master - forward line is suslpect. Chol two missed shots in front.
Lewis / Dear mix ? I would look at McKenzie for Jaiff.
Geelong are so much physically bigger and mature.

Yep and did that.

He’ll be there again next week, he picked up a little bit more in that second and did some great things with his contest, follow up and hit a brilliant kick.

Needs to keep playing and finding his feet, once he does he throws hawthorn up another level, at his best he’s an elite KPF.
