I’m getting a vision of the Road runner and the coyote with Winston & William no sooner than that missile that William was riding was about to catch his prey, Winston, when out of nowhere…POW he ploughs headlong into a huge boulder. (Weak analogy but you get the picture).

Winston congratulations you will have to fall over from here to lose!!! Congrats in advance and I am thankful that we had one Aussie in there flying the flag against the more fancied experts from Stateside.

Kind words Mr Hat … but I subsribe to the theory of “Never count your chickens…..” This comp has proven that it’s possible to score 12 or 13 in one week, and then quite as easily 6 or 7 the next. This comp will go down to the wire !!!

Plus I have always had a soft spot for the old Coyote (“ massiv respec !!! “ - Ali-G )

Plus, I’m sure there’s gonna be the usual bout of huge upset wins in Week 17 by the unfancied non-playoff teams…. (which will also have interesting repercussions on playoff seedings)

Anways enuff crap ….. here’s my tips

Miami
49ers
Philly
Washington
Da Bears
Titans
Falcons
Saints
Packers
Indy
KC
Seattle
Cleveland (rocks !!!)
Raiders
Patsies
Bucs

I'm going with KC. I can't recommend that in particular. Priest Holmes probably won't play. Our Fullback (and I believe the best blocking FB in the league) Tony Richardson is out for the season. We had to finish up that Denver game with our top 4 offensive weapons in the morgue. We darn near tied it up at the end anyway. This doesn't mean we will be worth a **** against San Diego. Fortunately, the game is at Arrowhead.

MOOSTER PICKS:

Miami
San Francisco
Philly
Washington
Carolina
Tennessee
Atlanta
New Orleans
Green Bay
Indy
KC
St Louis
Cleveland
Denver
New England

Pittsburgh (this will prove who is paper and who is scissors)

I'll have to do 2 weeks worth here as I'm outta here for a while. Deep sea fishin club here I come.

Miami
Philly
SF
Packers
Atlanta
Saints
KC
Seattle
Oakland
Chicago
Washington
Colts
Tennessee
Ravens
Pats
Steelers

Week 17
Giants
Oakland
Atlanta
Saints
Washington
Minnesota
Colts
Jets
Chicago

Nope, OMH, pretty much spot on. The Road Runner & Wile E. Coyote analogy seems apt...

But hopefully, I still have time to prove that I am a "super genius"-- like the coyote himself, I will not give up in my pursuit. Four picks adrift with two weeks to go, but it CAN be done!! :D

Only until then will I congratulate The Wolf on his apparent, but as of yet to be clinched, victory.

Here we go...

Sat, Dec 21 LOCATION
Miami vs Minnesota, Metrodome
San Francisco vs Arizona, Sun Devil Stadium
Philadelphia vs Dallas, Texas Stadium
Sun, Dec 22 LOCATION
Houston vs Washington, FedEx Field
Chicago vs Carolina, Ericsson Stadium
Tennessee vs Jacksonville, ALLTEL Stadium
Detroit vs Atlanta, Georgia Dome
New Orleans vs Cincinnati, Paul Brown Stadium
Buffalo vs Green Bay, Lambeau Field
NY Giants vs Indianapolis, RCA Dome
San Diego vs Kansas City, Arrowhead Stadium
St. Louis vs Seattle, Seahawks Stadium
Cleveland vs Baltimore, Ravens Stadium
Denver vs Oakland, Network Associates Coliseum
NY Jets vs New England, Gillette Stadium
Mon, Dec 23 LOCATION
Pittsburgh vs Tampa Bay, Raymond James Stadium

Hat, it should also be noted that with the Saturday games back home in the USA, one day sooner than usual for weekend kickoff, the deadlines should be reminded accordingly. That just occurred to me...

Cheers,
William

Good Call Buddy!!!!

Glad you had the foresight to see it.........

I didnt think the Steel Boys had a chance against the Bucs!!!!

As one of the very few people in Australia who would follow this team!!!!!

Go You Bloody Steelers!!!!!!!

Im hoping to see the "Terrible Towel" around February 2!!!!!

Naked Dead Guy picked the Steelers too. That's understandable as he barracks for New Orleans.

Tampa is a paper champion. They've won quite a few games this year, but they've had a relatively kind schedule and some good teams played ordinary against them.

Pittsburgh on the other hand, is a very solid team which has grossly under-achieved this year. To my mind, the Steeler/Bucs match up was going to be a demonstration that Tampa is paper and the Steelers are the real steel.

The only doubts I had were with Pittsburgh's tendency to perform poorly in games they should win. By rights, roster and coaching staff, they should be in the AFC Championship game this year with a 13-3/12-4 record. I figured this game would decide whether or not they actually deserved the stink year they've built for themselves. Turns out they pulled off the easy win they were capable of.

When the Chiefs aren't in the playoffs, Pittsburgh is one of the teams I don't mind pulling for. Peace to you Davo,

Mooster
