Come on guys it isn't gonna happen
I think we are just throwing out the option to both GC & JOM but there is no way he will get his head around a totally different state. Essendon is another story because they will get back to the top again.
I'll be happy if the Hawks don't get him because the fans will start asking questions lol.
Even after a triple p'ship feast & they'll still not be happy.
Says it all really doesn't it?

If O'meara came down to the swans over the Hawks, I'll legit piss myself for a solid 30 mins then go straight to the main board and give it to all those dopey Hawks fans!

On O'meara though, I'm 50/50 on the bloke he has the potential to be the best mid in the game and has a good kick with some speed as well something we lack in the middle but also he hasn't played in two years with his knees possibly being a concern.

I think if any club could bring the best out of a player it's the swans, Hawks wouldn't sell the farm for him if they weren't confident his knees would be a concern.

I say bring JOM to the club! Come on Swannies get it done lol

If we do get him it'd be for Tippett. So there would be room easy.
Harley denied Tippett was being traded though. If we were looking to move Tippett on then maybe Nankervis would've stayed as a spot would've opened up for him.

Reckon Lids is exactly what GWS needed. A leader & not as big a wannabe tough guy tool like half their current list. He'll provide some stability & flexibility positionally for them that Stevie J or Mummy (or even Griffen) can't give them IMO.

If ppl aren't worried about the GWS onslaught now then they never will be... It's here now & I'm expecting to see AFL created domination the likes we've never ever seen before............
Hopefully The Highlighted cancels out the last sentence of your post. It has happened before in team enviroments that have been stacked with the highest level of ability in better Franchises than GWS. Maybe not in the AFL that have been recognised but other codes and we can only hope the it happens to them and shits right in the face of the AFL and the smug little ****** that GWS are. Like any supporter of any club I am concerned about their brilliance and depth of riches but I am sure not fearful of them being the sole reason standing in the way of the next Swans Premiership.

Don't believe everything you hear. Besides plans can change quickly. Especially when considering that we came out and said that Nanka is a required player and we let him go without much fight. I also believe that Horse wants to go with the one sole ruck. Think he has had enough of the dual.

Most frustrating thing about trade period on Bigfooty ? The amount of people on here who think they know what certain players are paid and the current flexibility of our salary cap. Probably speaking as much tripe as those stating O'Meara will be at the Club. Unless People work in the Front office of a football club they know jack shit.

I'm in UK so maybe I'm off the pace, haha. Usually though we let players go in good faith when they want to seek more playing opportunities which is why we let Nanka go easily. I know plans can change, but I don't think Horse is going to change the sides structure at the drop of a hat during trade week to bring in a player who hasn't played in 2 years. You might be right though :p We'll see soon enough

With Nankervis gone I don't want them to trade out Tippet, our rucks don't seem to be the resilient type on the injury front. Better to groom Heeney than keep him out of the midfield he has as much potential as JOM

Honestly mate I just want a big name coming in. Been a boring trade period for us and the Swans have spoilt me with their shenanigans over the past few years.
