Not sure what I think about it, but it would be great for lols when the Hawks go into melt...

Would have as much credit as Titch to the Saints. Would take it with a grain of salt.

Heard from a good source Jordan Lewis was told to go ahead with the demons trade, Mitchell said he was leaving then hawks blocked the Lewis trade and he's blown up big time. Hawks have messed this up big time.

Think there was potential with Hartung and I agree speed can't be your only priority. But Hawthorn are waaay slower than us. They will struggle for ball movement next year imo

They still have Smith (better outside run then we have) and to be honest unless he had dramatic improvement (not out of the realm if possibility) Hartung wouldn't be best 22 at the Hawks.

Using him to get O'Meara is smart.

Probably reading way too much into it, but in hindsight Harley doing the media rounds this morning was at pains to stress that we had Pick 14 so, in his words, 'other clubs know where we stand' and in the next sentence when asked about Tippett, made sure everybody knew he 'was running 3rd in our B&F when he got injured' rather than just saying 'Kurt is contracted and a required player' blah blah...

That's why I thought Boomer for a year or two would be a good fit. Of course he's a downhill skier and poor defensively but he would have given us X factor.

We don't have that pick but an in principle arrangement with the Hawks.

No paperwork has gone through to AFL HQ so who says the Hawks wouldn't go **** you and pull out if we undermined their trade target?

We can't trade a pick we don't officially have.

Tippett to gc for jom- clears cap space and gets rid of tom, and reid assumes tippetts spot.

We now have an eliye 2 way mid.

Again unlikely and i fully expect JOM to sign with the hawks in the coming days, but it sure is fun to dream
