Marshall is the one of the most overrated players in this draft. He doesn't get many touches and hasn't kick a great deal of goals this season. He is also a big risk but there is a big upside. He is a project player and is a player who Ken wouldn't that be interested in because he's previously said he wants 'ready made' players like Wines.

Didn't he just attempt a hostile takeover of Punt Road?Adolf Hitler.
Adolf Hitler.
Good on the attack, but he struggles defending.

Actually, it was attacking blindly, arrogantly into an empty forward 50 that got him into trouble - hammered on the rebound everytime, after a few easy wins to start the season. When they had enough time to get into decent defensive positions they went ok for a team so undermanned as the season wore on.
Actually the most talented list with amazing firepower. Should have done better if the coach didn't get it so wrong.
Prost!I'm just going on some of the comments i have read but i don't get the attraction of Scrimshaw? He sounds like another half back flanker who can't defend and doesn't win enough of the ball to be a midfielder. I don't want another half back flanker with a pretty kick.
We need more mids .. a few more like Ollie would be good. Our club has given no real clues to be honest but we cut a lot of forwards and have a lack of genuine young mids pushing up in the seconds

Yeh people are comparing him to the Bont because of his size but Scrimshaw isn't a mid and can't defend. Our recruiters have just about lost the plot if we pick up another HBF who can't defend their man.
Think Jack Macrae, not another O'Shea. Hes picked up mid 20s all year so not sure where the doesnt win enough ball thing comes from.
What I want is a midfielder with an excellent kick, and Scrimshaw is that person.
Knightmare's work on the draft boards is exceptional, but keep in mind he's not infallible - he's had many misses over the years, even with regards to HOW a player will play at AFL level. I feel a lot of posters in this thread have read his draft profiles and then made their minds up on players with regards to our list needs.
The most accurate in the draft boards I've seen over the years is Quigley, but he doesn't post until close to the draft and I think he's even missed a year before. I hope he has a 2016 one, because he is incredibly detailed and goes against the grain of a lot of phantom drafters (he just simply puts how he would do it, not how he thinks it'll be). Not infallible either, though.
In the end, they are all players with potential at this point. It's fun to have favourites and all that, but to not want a player because of a phantom draft write up is a bit premature. Having said that, I can definitely understand having the attitude of "If we draft a half back flanker at pick 9, I'll spit chips!" attitude - I don't want us to reach for a key forward in this draft.
I guess all I'm saying is it pays to keep an open mind haha.
