Sounds like a massive fail, either on the players or the fitness staff
I remember feeling a bit sick when I heard that Burton was taking on a new role this year and being replaced by this new guy. Burton came highly recommended and seemed to do a fantastic job last year. I hope this isn't the reason for all the hammys this season. Whether it's true or not 1 thing is for sure, the club will never admit it.Probably both.
In the last week of pre-season a friend of mine witnessed Seed and Fetta at a local having a merry time, "at least half a dozen down each". Just the two of them, attempting to be discreet in a corner. Very disappointing. I wouldn't discount them both being out for a few weeks longer than reported at least. And I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't seen at all this season.Player | Injury | Injury Date | Estimated Time Out | Estimated Return | Delta

Was the day before one of our games. And they were both listed as injured at that time. Is downing half a dozen the best way to go about getting fit and healthy to play footy? I wouldn'r know cause I've never done it.What if they had the next day off?
They are allowed a life!
As the actress said to the bishopHow bloody good is it to have depth and position flexibility..
So they did have the next day off. Studies have shown a few beers with your mates twice a week is healthy for men and helps with stress and mental health. If it hinders recovery of course its a no but otherwise i can't see an issue. Was the day before one of our games. And they were both listed as injured at that time. I prefer to think of it that way, thanks. I guess moderation is the key when considering injury recovery. Since then both players recovery has seemed to be extended over and over, so maybe I'm just adding one and one to make three. So they did have the next day off. Brad has admitted it's been partly his fault. He felt some tightness and didn't speak up. They're being more cautious with him now and he's more aware of the issues too.Leg weights and training to the edge was what Leicester city did in their premier league year
Straight from their games onto leg weights even
As well as loading with sprints at end of training sessions even a couple of days before match day
There is some science there but there is also a line that can make you susceptible to hamstring injury
I have no doubt we have been pushing that line and only time will tell if it's a good move
The players that survive the regime will add a few % to their games , we are known as a super fit side and with some increase in power no doubt it's part of our plan to improve our finals results by winning contested ball
I'd rather have a crack than be too careful but some players may be less suited eg brad crouch with his history
Re injured players - I'm pretty sure no alcohol while your injured is the policy and those players would be sanctioned if found out rightly or wrongly that seems to be the policy
