Achilles I seem to recall. Didn't play at all in his first season and was a slow burner. But that's relying on my memory and I struggle to remember what I had for lunch today so don't take it as gospel
I remember had ligament damage to his knee early. Missed a chunk of games. First or second season.

Had a bit to do with Davis and Rutten being in the side too.

Doedee would need to play, what 4, 5 very good games at SANFL level before he'd be a chance for selection? Can't see him getting close to the AFL side until well into the second half
Depending on the severity yeah, Cheney and Seedsman probably the same length of time

Even worse for him is that Cheney will probably return before or with him and Cheney will get first crack. Poor Tom had the perfect little window now where we cant find a single small defender in our squad and have resorted to playing Mackay or Douglas there instead.

Anyone know what Doedee has actually done.
'Shoulder' with absolutely no mention or details in any report can't be good news

If it was a minor one-weeker they'd have told us.

Worse would be if it's cover for his knee tendinitis flaring up again. Dayne Beams came back for one game last season then didn't play again for the year.

Hope it's nothing serious. This is the time he should be getting a taste of AFL action.

Cheney has proven he would be a valuable contributor to the team, Kelly was lucky he was injured and going on what Kelly did for his first 4 games, you would think Cheney would fit iwell n front of him, his AFL form was very good and proven. No one else in the squad has shown that amount of ability at AFL level so Cheney would be the first in for a roatation through the backline with Brown, Smith and laird even able to cover Lever as he plays tall aswell. Easily our best back 8 would be Talia, Hartigan, Lever/Otten, Laird, Smith, Brown, Cheney you never know with Wigg though he does deserve a crack he is getting runs on the board
