My understanding is that the AFL have actually asked the TAC Cup to have the zoning rules and a limit to tagging, because they want to better see who can win contests.
Why the lack of love on Fogarty?
You realise prior to his knee injury was universally talked about as the potential pick 1? He dominated an early season rep game vs peers. Got experience in SANFL midfield, fwd and back as a 17 year old and showed good signs.
Pros.
Powerful mid/fwd, break from congestion.
55m kick and is accurate on both sides.
Physical.
Decent speed.
Good hands.
Versatile. A player who can be relied upon yto impact the game up forward, down back and through the midfield. And I'm not talking Goldsack versatile more Pavlich versatile.
Reads the game well and makes good decisions with the ball.
Honestly the more I think about it the more I want us to select him.
Someone should bop that bishop.
I like that someone mentioned earlier Cerra might slide to us.
If he doesn't well que Cerra Cerra then.

I am a huge chanceThere's as much chance of me or you being selected at #6 as Clavarino. He will be there at #38 and possibly even in our 50s picks.
I'm not surprised that recruiters are saying that. Personally, I think they are just making excuses for misreading the way the game was heading and thus continued to pay huge picks for Mark and kick power forwards. Not noticing their reduced effectiveness unless they have a ground level game, are explosive on the lead or are endurance athletes who can continually present.I know for a fact that after a initial positive reception, recruiters now think it's become a major issue. Particularly scouting forward of centre.
They simply can't get a good gauge on forward craft (leading patterns etc) because the space and contests don't replicate what players will be faced with at AFL level (third man up, zoning defenders etc).
Che Cerra, Cerra.....I’d be quite comfortable with Cerra. Excellent delivery to forwards is very important.
What could have been. The Lions have been ravaged by the "go-home factor" in recent years, with a host of talented young players including Sam Docherty, Elliot Yeo and Billy Longer all departing and forging impressive careers at other clubs.
Che Cerra, Cerra.....
I'll see myself out

What is the reason for the dramatic driftAgreed - I actually think Clubs will pass on him at the ND. He will most likely be rookie listed.
Unfortunately for us, I think Cerra will be go top 3.
It may end up being Dow that drifts a little (McCluggage) and Stephenson who rises (Tarranto)
Unfortunately? I’d be thrilled with Dow over Cerra.Unfortunately for us, I think Cerra will be go top 3.

What could have been.
Or Malthouse and BucksLonger and ‘impressive’ go together like Turnbull and Abbott.
LDUReally?
I rate Cerra as 2, behind Rayner.
I have LDU at 3, Dow at 4, Stephenson at 5
