These ones won't count in the final tally mate but it's great to see nonetheless! I'm expecting near 50,000 next year. Trade/FA period will be huge!

Good one there PC re Eskimos....lol.

The marketing dept would have been gutted by our season/finish.

Reckon yr right....not making finals could hurt things going into 2018.

Mind you....we have a pretty good PR/spin dept down there.......they are very good at promoting things.

My biggest concern and it's a really big concern is that out average year could affect our prime slot TV coverage for 2018....eg...Fri and Sat nights.

The Tiges lost theirs this year due to their crap 2016.......we may lose ours and they get theirs back.

I know I said I'd eat my hat at 45 thousand (from memory)
Its just that 50 thousand is a bloody lot of members for little old st kilda
Even in our glory years of getting to finals and losing them we couldn't hit it

Would take a decent Hawks or Lions like dynasty I reckon
Wouldn't surprise me if we drop from 42 next year tbh

45 to 50 each year would be bloody lovely tho
If we could maintain that balance no matter what happens on the field it would be nice, but of course it never works that way
