Agree. In the ideal world neither would probably be on the list this year. Both totally injury riddled and both aren't even doing full pre-season training which I reckon's a massive concern.I really haven't got my hopes up for Deledio and/or Griffen at this point tbh.
Agree very much with this. There is one benefit to the timing though. They have time to start training people in that position now. Better than happening mid season or the eve of the finals.
Lobb is managing his goin and UFT is still hampered by his toe. Both should be right for round one though.
Sorry but who is UFT?
Actually surprised there hasn't been more conjecture on how he 'did' the toe.Uncle F****** Toby

Anyway, looking forward to an incident-free year from him.
Not that I know of, it's the same injury he dealt with last year, Simpson will get games this year for sureWhy would Rory be 'managing' his groin at this time of year? Did he have an op in the off season?
Sounds a bit like it could be osteitis pubis. Hope not.Why would Rory be 'managing' his groin at this time of year? Did he have an op in the off season?

That was the rumour last year so its odd that it hasnt been dealt with considering how important he will be, hopefully holding him back is the treatment rather than hoping he can make it through the year.
Yep. Haynes worked through it relatively quickly. It is taking Lobb a little while though. Every journey is different.A lot of those kind of injuries (inflammation type) can't be dealt with beyond managing workload. It's not necessarily a simple "send them in for surgery" fix.
Agree that if Lobb is unfit for round 1, we should throw Dawsome in. Adam Kennedy seems a rough chance of being OK for round 1, but certainly no need to rush him if he isn't fully fit or even 'match fit'. Bonar wasn't particularly impressive today in the AFLX but I'd want to see more of him in preseason to consider if he would be ready to debut in round 1. I'm also keen to see how Zac Giles Langdon goes in preseason - he seems a chance to be ready for round 1.
Daniel's injury possibly gives him the box seat, shame I would have loved to see Daniels out there pre-season to get a good look at him.I'd like to see a specialist small forward, and ZGL appears to have plenty of speed and heart.
