Gaff to Melbourne has been the go to story all year with absolutely no substance or evidence for it.

“Gaff to Melbourne” is largely based on his BFMAAK status but I think Gaff himself has put the kybosh on that as a factor.

Polec has played 60 of those games.

I don't really understand how durability can be much of a concern. Sure the guy could get injured but 3 seasons in a row seems to indicate he's got some durability about him.

Front loading is better for everyone concerned.

We should front end both his and Gaff's contracts. It should actually make us more appealing as a club.

Jared well give you $600k a year and we'll give you $1.2 of that in you first year.

You'll be on $450k a year after your first.

Exactly. Somebody in the last thread laid down a stats comparison between Polec and Shiel for this season and it was near identical. Port fans are spewing about this one because Polec is the point of difference in their midfield and probably leading their B&F. I'll be first to admit when the news first started filtering through I was appalled by this choice but then I started watching him more and now I feel the 650k over 5 years is pretty much a steal. He's a very underrated player absurdly so.
