Mentioned earlier - something is going on here.

It's like they've been granted permission by the AFL to have a fire sale. Then when they don't win a game next season (except maybe they topple Port at Adelaide Oval after a goal review controversy) the AFL are on hand to provide extra special assistance - further salary cap dispensation, multiple priority picks.

It's like they wouldn't have enough 'evidence' if they just had a standard 5-17 season where they are semi competitive. So they need a genuine 0-22 stinker so that no one questions the copious amount of assistance they are going to get.
