No, he genuinely comes across as smug, arrogant, dismissive and patronising. Are you sure that is not you just looking for something because you want Campo gone.

Difference being Lyons is and always has been quite decent forward. And actually just to reinforce:
How often was Lyons pushed to the high half forward graveyard. Just like Gallucci
I'm not sure sub and HFF counts while Thommo was getting around the centre square on his wheelchairLyons ?? Nah we didn't, we played him quite a bit and wanted to keep him.
We just paid him what he was worth
His lack of development is quite sad.
They use him as a battering ram. I would have loved him with us with those raw traits (ball hunting ability and brute force strength) and Eddie to be a role model for him outside of Footy.
Port have basically left him in his raw state. As they have Ollie.
I will probably be saying the same thing about Rozee, Butters and Dursma in 2021.

I don't know. Something about history and tradition and existing to win premierships or something or other.
Someone pointed this out, and to my surprise when I looked it up, they were right.Just looked at the ladder. How the hell are we only 2 games behind second.
Wouldn't even be confident in beating Carlton in a couple of weeks.
The things I would do to have the 2017 crows this year.
Yeah Riciutto was soft. And now the Hawks have Stratton.
I feel with SPP he was already nearing his ceiling when they drafted him.
He was already developed and dominating smaller bodied players
Everyone else developed but he had nowhere to really go
They'd still blow the GF. 2017 was very much like this year, except we were the Geelong. That was just as much the year to steal a flag while no one was dominating if we didn't shit the bed.The things I would do to have the 2017 crows this year.

Oh come on.....Difference being Lyons is and always has been quite decent forward.
Agree the flag is for the taking in an open season. The standard of football has dropped. No team is dominant - even Geelong appear vulnerable. The team that gets its s**t together over next 9-10 weeks will win the flag.
Geelong - very soft draw in last 6 weeks (not good going into finals)
Collingwood - interesting draw ahead with sone challenges but should equip them well if they get key players back
Brisbane - who knows, biggest improvement and have winnable games for next 4 weeks before ending with Geelong and Richmond
West Coast- convincing at times but if Kennedy doesn’t fire they seem to struggle to win
Richmond - hardest draw of the 8 and if they get top 4 (don’t think they will as two games behind plus % plus they play the three above them)
GWS - on the ropes but after next two weeks their draw is favourable
Us - who ******* knows - Essendon will be a major win and games against West Coast and Collingwood will dictate if we have a home final
Essendon - games against the two Adelaide sides determine if they make the 8, finish with Collingwood
Port - drop another home game and only Freo is a given in the last round. Richmond this week will probably determine their season given don’t think they will win another away game
Bulldogs - draw is ok but still have to beat more sides another them. Unlikely.
Interesting that their are a lot of 8 point games in the last 6 rounds - the eight and its formation are well up for grabs. Top 4 is likely set given the top 4 have a 2 game break plus % which isn’t easy to make up in 6 rounds.
Agree the flag is for the taking in an open season.
Disagree the top 4 is set. Imo Richmond will make the top 4.
Pies I think have a more challenging draw than Richmond & have just lost their captain for sometime.

You’re embarrassing yourself now. He was a very average half forward that couldn’t nail a spot. Because it’s a graveyard spot.Difference being Lyons is and always has been quite decent forward.
FTFYYeah, it all began way back in 1870 0or thereabouts......................and ended in 1996
Wouldn't it actually say that out player development is very good. He just couldn't be utilised as an inside midfielder as we have better players already on our list. So he was moved on. And has done well at times at 2 different clubs now. He is and has been very inconsistent. If he was actually still here and was in the 22 every week what would be said on here about our midfield being one paced. Look at what is said about our current mix. It would be a lot worse if he was still here.Lyons had 36 possessions against a midfield that annihilated ours.
Yet we could only find a spot on the same HFF that Gallucci occupies.
Our mid development is a joke

Indeed as history may well repeat.Geelong will be hoping Collingwood or Richmond don't finish 4th.
