Cox is versatile but I get your point about not being a proven player in any locked down spot. It's also a bonus and think he can settle in at either end of the ground. Darcy Moorewasn't proven in his position coming through. The difference between Cox and Aaron Francis is Cox has genuine running ability and works - his brilliant six-minute run in the 2km time trial showed that. Essendon, GWS, Adelaide among the clubs having a look.PLAYERCARDSTART30Darcy Moore

The Giants have to look tall at some stage of their run of early picks. They have five selections inside the first 29 picks and should get a tall forward in there somewhere. Is it Nik Cox? Could Matt Allison be available later on? Unfortunately a couple at the very top-end would be good Jezza replacements but will be bitten off.
Reckon it will be the same result as interviewing Santa Claus, Easter Bunny & the Tooth Fairy ... we won't see any at GWS next year.![]()

why do we need mumford Jacobs and pruess, or did Jacobs retire??Look forward to see him stealing games from highly drafted talent again and expediting their exits from the club![]()

I know this wouldn’t be a popular view but I reckon Geelong might go after one of our inside mids next year. With Selwoods end nearing, I could see them going after Hopper/Taranto.
I’m not that against it to be honest. I reckon we need more burst in there. It would allow a XOH to move in there... and he’s quicker than Hopper and has a better tank.
It’s looking likely that Green might be the best of the midfield bulls, so with him and Taranto in there that is more than enough stoppage power.
What do you guys think?
I think Geelong will go after anyone.....and everyone over 30 years of age

You might get next year's first plus two in the teens this year from Collingwood

Ummm... just watched Cox’s highlights. Make him priority 1.

I actually like Cox more than any of the Fab 5. 2m tall, runs the 2km in 6 min, great kick off either foot. Takes good options. He kicked a set shot off his left foot from 40m... taking the piss. In 3 years, when he puts on about 10-15kg, I reckon he’ll be possibly the best pick from this draft - either him or Ugle Hagan.Doubt that he'll make it past Essendon's trio of selections
Also given your recent departures I'd have thought your club would be looking to regenerate with more star power from the pointy end and it's "Fab 5" that's currently being frothed over.
And he’ll be multiple AA.I actually like Cox more than any of the Fab 5. 2m tall, runs the 2km in 6 min, great kick off either foot. Takes good options. Given he some chance to be ours, I hope he does and you are correctAnd he’ll be multiple AA.
I can’t see how he doesn’t go top 10.Given he some chance to be ours, I hope he does and you are correct
Not sure about his leadership capabilities... be hard to go past Tom GreenNot to mention future captain![]()

Hopefully they’ll play him every week and he’ll have established a strong rapport with a stable back 6/7 early in the season.Ok so what round next year are we starting to worry about ASH leaving? 8?
If one of our forwards goes back, surely it’s HH before Finlayson. Jez doesn’t have the mindset for a defender.Hopefully they’ll play him every week and he’ll have established a strong rapport with a stable back 6/7 early in the season.
Will be interesting to see who takes over from Shaw as the vocal leader in defence.
I expect Finlayson to move back to replace Corr.
Agree with others that it would be best to leave Whitfield back.
