Can't say I've seen anyone on the presumed dead list for a while. Bodes well for the season ahead.
I haven't been watching the Big Bash too closely this year, but it appears that teams can fly in to play the Scorchers in Perth without a lengthy quarantine. Can anyone confirm if this is correct?

I think it was smoother sailing before all the little outbreaks (Vic, Qld). Scorchers SCG fixture has just been changed to ACT. I can't imagine why except for community transmission.
Unless he's about to lap Vardy, in which case he's an extremely good 2k runner.
I'd love to know what kind of times the big guys put up. They're slow compared to the mids but I'm curious as to how they'd stack up compared to the general population. I suspect they're still doing under 8 mins.
I loved Vardy during that 2018 final series when he and Lycett took on and beat the best ruckmen in the comp (who weren't recovering from an ACL) three weeks running and then he fell off the cliff. Really hope he can have a real crack in 2021.

Surely they could have postponed the time trial by 3 days... im not sure it's absolutely vital that they get it done in this weather.
The preseason is for pushing the players fitness boundaries, building them up and then later on working on cohesiveness, gameplan and execution. It's the absolute perfect weather to do a 2k time trial in.
Ahh the first big run of pre-season in 35+ deg heat.
Great memories there..............NOT.
