Think they're aiming for higher than #10Beatson was on SEN yesterday arvo - said that they're looking to move up in the draft, but as yet no takers. Swans currently have #14 and #17 - which would likely give us access to Hotton and Cowan/George/Weddle/Keeler.
If there's someone the Swans rate who's still on the board at our pick on draft nite - possibly #10 and #29 for #14 and #17?
Twomey's rankings based more on club chat that where he personally rates the players - good news for us if this holds
This is the September edition of the Phantom Form Guide – the third of this year – where we rank the leading 30 draft prospects of this season. It does not take into account where they will be selected, nor where bids on father-son or Academy players may fall, but is simply a ranking of the top group of players in 2022.
Looks the logical step if we are determined for another top 30 pick. I would have a problem parting with our first. If the Camporeale boys come on, then we could look at trading our 2024 first back to compensate later.

Very changeable depending on which players are picked, what other clubs want to do.What would our F1 be worth as straight swap into this draft?
Think Dogs at 11 would be the best we could get that would at least cause interest. Anything more than 15, I don't think we'd be interested. What would our F1 be worth as straight swap into this draft?

Also bear in mind we'd have to do a secondary deal to get a future 3rd.
I think Phillipou is gone by our pick. Depends on what GCS do. Could see him going at 5, 6, or 7.
Id still like to move back and think that may well happen on draft night. GWS, SYD or WCE could all be tempted IMO.
MacKenzie is St Kilda NGA. Can’t match an early bid, unless they want key forward Jefferson, he won’t get past their pick.
Have been told by someone on here there is a massive chance of Gold Coast reaching for Hollands.Thought for a fleeting moment they might look at the key forward, but they have a star in Jed Walter as an Academy pick next year. Maybe in the market foraHumphrey type, but probably a flight risk
Geelong will take Clark unless Hawks go early. Again Jefferson may tempt Hawks, looks an area of need.
5 is far too early for Hollands, Gold Coast would be better trading back with us if they are wanting to 'reach'. Would much prefer us to take him either way and then pick up his brother when he's OOC as a mid/fwd option with elite and impactful disposal.
If they did trade back for him though we'd be left with Humphrey or Tsatas as the most likely options. Both of which I'd be more than comfortable taking keeping in mind both would be project players and only start impacting at a high level in 3-4 years. Both have a lot to work on with their kicking.
That's quite a decent list to choose from, without knowing too much about each playersAshcroft, Cadman, Wardlaw, Tsatas, Clark, Ginbey, Sheezel - They're a likely group of the top 7, it would be interesting to see which of those drop down the order.
1. GWS - Cadman
2. Brisbane - Ashcroft
3. North - Wardlaw
4. North - Tsatas
5. Essendon - Sheezel
6. GCS - Ginbey
7. Hawks - Clark
8. Cats - Mackenzie
9. Eagles - Busslinger
10. Saints - Humphrey
11. Carlton - ???? So many angles to head down here. Ed Allan, Hayes, Phillipou, Hotton, Hollands, Jefferson, Hewett....
I don't know much about them either but I'd have them in a different orderThat's quite a decent list to choose from, without knowing too much about each players
I would go in this order: Phillipou, Hollands, Jefferson, Hayes and then the rest
I'm more of the opinion that it would still be a minor reach for us at 10. A reach I'd like to take, as I think he's a really great prospect for a position we need filling but there's a lot of more attractive talents in this draft around that mark.Exactly why they're thinking of reaching. Pair the brothers. Limit any go home factor. Not sure why he's good enough for us to take at pick 10, buts its a reach for the Suns to take him at pick 5?

What you're saying about Suns & Hollands makes sense. Best chance of player retention would be putting the brothers together. But I don't see any other team picking him before, well, probably us at 10. Maybe Saints at 9 a chance.I like Hollands, just cant imagine him being there. Be stunned if GCS don't take him. It just seems like the smart move for them with his brother there.
I like Philippou, Hewett and Weddle at 10 for us. Would love another top 15 pick to hopefully land Philippou and Weddle. at 29, I'd make a move on Jayden Davey.
well if we end the trade period with Hollands I'll be equally excited for when Elijah is on the plane back to Vic in a couple of years to unite the duoI like Hollands, just cant imagine him being there. Surely if they want him, they'd be looking to do a deal with the Saints (or maybe us) to get him at 9 or 10, and get something else with him.
I would doubt if the GCS are interested in our pick, otherwise they could have split their pick 7 into two RD1 picks and offload one of them with Bowes - pick #7 was just ridiculously generous!Think this makes sense if Suns are really keen on Holland’s.
Dont think the Saints are in a position to waste some level of picks given the state of their list but for us we trade 10 and next years seconds to the Suns for 5 and one of there third rounders.
Gold Coast get Holland’s and more points and we get the the cream of possibly Tatsas, Clark or McKenzie. However this could only happy if Austin and crew feel that there is a strong gap in skills of those mentioned players as opposed to what’s available at pick 10.
Love to spend the next month with the recruiting team on work experience to get the inside word so just speculation as of now.
This theory throws out Austin’s thoughts yesterday of trying to get three picks before pick 30.
Clarks my favourite player in the draft but he would be a poor pick for us. He's a pure inside mid. Tsatas and McKenzie would be interesting for their outside work and possible that they end up 2 of the best of the whole draft given their speed out of stoppages and damage forward of centre, but don't think they are worth moving up for as similar types come around every year. Sheezel and Humphrey are boom or bust types but don't come around as often.Think this makes sense if Suns are really keen on Holland’s.

From BB's post earlier:If I remember correctly, I'm sure it's been said they have three really good academy kids in the 2023 draft? Or is it another club I'm thinking of?
Likewise, should a decent player come knocking next year we need our firstsStill believe we will trade a future 2nd for a current 2nd. Would involve shuffling of later picks and probably gets done night 2 of the draft

We need a link man.Last year was pretty easy, we had a list need and I was very keen on Motlop - so glad that we've got him on the night.
This year is a lot harder, our list hasn't got a stand-out need, so let's just go with the best available player
Hopefully one of the top guys slip through
I'm not asking for much.
Just a competitive player that has a nice kick and sound decision maker - simples - make it happen Austin![]()
Best available for our other 3 spots too
