If we get the win against the Jets, it's going to put a lot of pressure on the Cowboys to win in LA.

We have an absurdly difficult run coming up but not sure they'd want to go 3 games behind us.
Why are you even thinking about Dallas? They are a borderline WC team and lucky there are now 3 WC spots.

if the Jets get within 2 scores it will be a moral victory for them.

We have a run of:

Dolphins (H)
Commanders (A)
Cowboys (H)
Bye
Chiefs (A)
Bills (H)
49'ers (H)
Cowboys (A)

The NFC East is still very much alive.

If you are a good team it wont matter.

Good teams dont worry about others in the division. also its Dallas they lost to Arizona.

Colts & Jags
9ers @ Browns
Hawks & Bengals

are all big time
Can any AFC South match up be considered big time? Ha.

Brown and Bengals both with questionable form coming into it. Hopefully good games but not sure momentum with either of them.

Another WR for Arthur Smith to not call plays for...:p

NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports the Rams have traded Van Jefferson to the Falcons for a sixth and seventh-round pick in 2025.

Jefferson will get a fresh start with a team who lacks receiver depth. With Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua and Tutu Atwell as the established wideouts, Jefferson became expendable in Los Angeles. The Falcons are hoping to get production closer to what Jefferson did in 2021 went he went 50-802-6.

247 Sport’s Brad Stainbrook reports P.J. Walker will start for Deshaun Watson in Week 6 if he can’t play.

With Waston still dealing with a shoulder injury, Walker will get the nod over Dorian Thompson-Robinson. DTR started against the Ravens in Week 4 and proceeded to throw three interceptions on the way to the Browns losing 28-3. Walker would provide a veteran presence if Watson is absence.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports the Jets are considering trading Mecole Hardman.

Hardman has been a healthy scratch of late and has one reception on the season. He signed a one-year, $4 million contract with the Jets this offseason and was widely expected to be part of the team’s wideout rotation. More of a gadget player than a traditional wide receiver, the Jets could move Hardman before the league’s October 31 trade deadline. There’s almost no landing spot where Hardman would be fantasy viable.

drd23 , you can keep him on the taxi squad in DM2 by the looks of it..

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports Dolphins RB Devon Achane could be placed on injured reserve.

Schefter said Achane will miss “multiple weeks.” Dolphins head coach Mike McDaniel was cryptic on Monday when asked about Achane’s knee injury, and would only say the team is evaluating the rookie after he left Sunday’s game against the Giants. If he lands on injured reserve, Achane — the league’s second leading rusher — would miss at least four weeks. Achane’s injury comes as Jeff Wilson, a veteran of the Shanahan rushing attack used by Miami, is preparing to return from IR. Wilson and Raheem Mostert would likely split the backfield workload with Achane sidelined. Through Week 5, the Dolphins lead the NFL in EPA per rush.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports the Cardinals are placing James Conner on short-term injured reserve.

Conner suffered a knee injury in the Cardinals’ Week 5 loss against the Bengals. In his absence, undrafted rookie Emari Demercado replaced Conner and went 10-45-1. It’s expected that Demercado will assume the Cards’ lead RB role with Conner out. Conner has rushed 68 times for for 364 yards and two touchdowns this season while adding eight receptions for an additional 30 yards

Travis Kelce (ankle) was able to practice on Tuesday.
Kelce did have his ankle heavily taped, but him being on the field and able to participate in drills is big news with the Chiefs playing on Thursday night against Denver. How his ankle responds to today’s work will give us more of an indication of what level of performance we can expect from the star tight end on Thursday night.

Lions head coach Dan Campbell said Amon-Ra St. Brown (abdomen) has a “pretty good” chance to play in Week 6 against the Bucs.
“I think it’s certainly more than questionable, I think it’s closer to probable at this point. We’ll see how this week goes,” Campbell said in a radio interview on Tuesday. It sounds like St. Brown, who was sidelined Sunday against the Panthers, will return to Detroit’s lineup for Sunday’s game against Tampa. Campbell has hinted that the team rested St. Brown to ensure his ab injury isn’t the long term variety. He’ll be a top-10 fantasy play against the Bucs.

I didnt expect ESPN to air a snuff film in the Panthers/Miami. but all 3 afternoon games on ESPN have the chance to turn into a snuff movie

Would have been good to see Richo vs Trev 2 but Minshew makes it less appealing.

Colts usually get curb stomped in Jacksonville having said that

I really hope injuries aren't going to continue to be a thing with Achane and Richardson coz both have looked so promising in what we have seen so far.

Can see the Browns keeping it close for a while in a defensive struggle maybe but if Walker is starting they have no chance.
