Actually a good move by the AFL for once
I like this a lot.
The last few years we haven't has legit indigenous players.
Now we have one in Rosas and a good one.
I reckon the more indig players in the AFL = Australia is a better country.
More opportunities.
More belief that you have opportunities.
As an aspiring kid I think this matters a lot I reckon.

Hamling says hi. Your point is correct.

Been reported by Sam McClure( so grain of salt but he is a Carlton supporter) that Hewett was not told the reason he was dropped after asking why he was.

Loved George at the Swans and has become a better player since, I imagine he must be on the outer at the Blues and while I understand we may not need him I wouldn't mind giving him a chance to comeback. Not sure what he's on but Adams contract is off the books at years end.

Will have other clubs seeking him out I assume.
Carlton really are a complete joke of a club. All the way from top to bottom.

I genuinely feel bad for the ex swans who are there.

Yeah it’s unfortunate that I love Carlton’s demise but hate that there’s some ex Swans who are part of that sinking ship.

What makes me not feel too bad for them is that they held off signing the contract offers we had in front of them because the Blues &/or other clubs were pissing in their ears with better offers. In turn we gave them increased contract years & dollars which was absolute madness. So sure, they are at a rabble club but at least we gave them a decent contract that Carlton will have to honour.
I saw Ollie live the other night. He was one of their best. Made some costly errors but took the game on shaming many of his team mates.
Will had another poor game. These two guys would perhaps be battle for a senior game at the Swans had they stayed, so I'm content that they are at least playing regular senior footy though I fear for Will. He'll need to really pull his finger out to hold his spot in the Carlton team.

We should watch everything but I seriously hope we don't go anywhere near him.
We don’t have picks that blues would want.
We don’t have TPP space to pay him.

We would be in bottom 4 clubs being any chance to get him even if they push him out.

West Coast makes most sense for me

Genuinely wouldn’t trade Sheldrick for Cripps, let alone what we’d actually need to give up. He just doesn’t fit what we are doing now and he’s pretty old and banged up.
Agreed. He's been carrying that team for years, it has to add up after a while. The game is also moving away from his type

Hewett is also a better option for them, but they're not brave enough to drop Cripps. I think he's done
