Josh Jenkins was the same on SEN last week too. Complaining about how freo could make finals on the back of the advantage north were giving us by playing this game in Perth, and how it’s unfair on the rest of the comp.
If anything we need another game in WA to make it more even with the privileged Melbourne clubs

Might actually force my way through the replay just to see what happened while he was in there in the mid. Definitely felt he was invisible in contest as a mid but im pretty sure his two goals were a result of playing as a mid soooo...

I felt Jackson was beaten thoroughly in the ruck in a way he hasn't been since late last season and didn't really do much in the midfield but when he did it was highly damaging, usually out of nowhere and very important so I wouldn't really discount his game entirely, didn't need it much to have a telling impact.

I agree, I thought he played well. On one occasion I think Amiss marked and Wagner ran into space dead in front waving his arms but the player with the ball didn't look up, took the shot and missed!

I hope after last nights game, people will understand that Jackson cannot handle rucks like Xerri, Nankervis, even Goldie. They are able to take away his run and leap. Darcy is the opposite, he stands toe to toe and takes them on physically.
Darcy is a must.

Holy crap we could be equal 4th if we beat Essendon next week. That's bloody huge.

This win while it seems bad is actually huge for our season. We've won 3 games in the wet, and 2 close games where they threw the absolute kitchen sink at us. These types of wins only build belief and momentum with the group.
