Cheers, good to knowSounds here like he had an off-field role at the club in 2020. But has a decent amount of coaching behind him at EF, and sounds like he had some involvement in coaching the state team at one point too.

I thought the stress leave was confirmed? Really he's been promoted to a position that's more in his wheel house based on his past experienceBigFooty randoms: Vozzo had had a mental breakdown/sacked/poached by Adelaide
Reality: Vozzo promoted
And it seems a clear stepping stone to eventually replacing Nisbett. He’s been in the football department side of running the club for best part of a decade so some time in the more admin focussed side of the club will round out his developmentI thought the stress leave was confirmed? Can’t wait for him to replace Nisbett. Reckon it’ll be a nice refresh for the club

Sounds like Vozzo's taking a big step back from day-to-day and rewarded as senior counsel, board level gig. Gavin Bell (football manager) was head of development and Ben Sharman (ops manager) was coaching admin manager... go figure.
Re-employing imho. They completely stuffed up last year with cuts and screwed everything from training and support staff to marketing to football ops, and it was very evident. For a club struggling with Money apparantly according to their WAFL woes they do seem to be employing lots of people.
Vozzo, Bell and Sharman were all already at the club so these are promotions and not new hires. For a club struggling with Money apparantly according to their WAFL woes they do seem to be employing lots of people.

Brennan as a development coach is new but doubt he’s on that much
:shhh:Also Vozzo moving into the executive means his salary won’t count against the soft cap anymore, which was the real issue.

Does Vozzo have a son with a keen eye for young talent?
Yeah wacko Vozzo.
Yeah how will we know who has 'turned a corner' or is 'progressing well'Injury updates wont be the same without Vozzo
Needs more “conservative approach”…Yeah how will we know who has 'turned a corner' or is 'progressing well'
I prefer it when people don't consider us the best in 2018. Just makes them saltier and the flag sweeter. We were the best team in 2018.
Gavin Bell is interesting is considered by many in the AFL system as one of the best develop managers.
He has knocked back job offers every year from other clubs but hasn't wanted to move interstate
Western Bulldogs and Richmond have tried to poach him in recent years
Losing him from head of development could be a blow for us with so many kids brought into the club again
Hope his replacement can step up
