It ain’t Collingwood fans

Why would Collingwood fans be sooking when the umpires gave You’s the game? Yet you still try to find free kicks that should of been paid your way. Do you expect 20 free kicks more than the opposition every week, last quarter specialists because the umpires step up. But hey keep the story going.

So in effect, supporters of both sides are in agreement. Umpires suck.

To be fair Pies fans were doing a hell of a lot more crying than Crows fans in that game day thread and they still got an arsey win!

Next minute they get the world giving them a win and everything is cool and the Umps are always right as it is suddenly now just normal swings and roundabouts!

Collingwood and Adelaide fans are blessed. They can sometimes win free kick counts and get 50-50 decisions.

The Crisp and Soliglio calls were mind blowing. Buckley on the commentary said its calls like these that leave supporters confused.

Crisp clearly caught HTB trying to barge through with the ball was a ball up.

Soliglio picks it up immediately wrapped up same umpire 15 seconds later HTB

Lyon just said On The Couch, that the AFL admitted today that they missed what should have been a free kick for head high contact against Dawson at the end.

It only impacted the result of the game. Probably nothing.

20.6 INJURY PREVENTING DISPOSAL Where a Player is awarded a Mark or Free Kick and, in the opinion of the field Umpire, that Player is suffering from an injury which will prevent them from disposing of the football, the nearest Player from the same Team shall dispose of the football at the location of the Mark or Free Kick.

If the umpire had paid the free kick he would've have called time off before the siren sounded in that situation. There was still 10 seconds left on the clock.

Like I said Collingwood have the edge on us, and I think if we kicked 90 pies would have gotten 92. Until we beat Collingwood I will continue to think the same. Pies are top of the ladder as well so I think we had a good crack but had a bad 2nd quarter which was the difference in the end.

I said it earlier, I’ve got no qualms with Crows fans feeling hard done by.

You have nailed it though, like the first game, it was a lot closer than your mob should’ve allowed it to be. Wasn’t the umpires that cost Adelaide the game, it was the 2.8 in the first half. Same story as the first game - convert the chances and she’s over a lot earlier than it needed to be.

Plenty to be excited about as a Crows fan - I jumped on the Crows bandwagon a long time ago because I could see the list was being built nicely. If all goes well, may even cross paths again in September.

You’re right, I don’t examine the context of previous posts. I’m not a ******* doctor I don’t examine things. Anyway this thread is about Collingwood vs Adelaide which was played yesterday if you missed it, there was a controversial free kick missed at the end of the game and the pies were gifted the game in case you weren’t aware.

This, Nick Daicos willed Collingwood over the line, I didn’t notice Dawson in the last qtr when the game was on the line.

Neither did the umpires when he was taken high by Elliott.

You would have to be absolutely blind not to have noticed either Dawson or Nick Daicos!
