Should have won? The game would have been borderline over in the first quarter if we kicked straight.
When the game was up for grabs in the last, we ran over the top. SPP kicks that goal instead of missing and we're 23 points up. Instead it goes down the other end.
It was a nice little comeback but you only hit the lead with 80 secs to play. That's stealing it, not deserving to win lol.
If sooky Scott is taking that mindset, it just shows why he's been a loser his whole coaching career.
He got kicked out of the box to sit on the boundary. He even said as much in the post match. Carr is coaching.

We kicked worse than you, game would have been over at half time if we kicked straight in the second qtr, swings and roundabouts. regardless we were up with a minute to go and missed a simple chance to ice the game, yes we absolutely should have won

Yup.
I don’t think anyone outside of Port fans are actually noticing this.
Hinkley is now a EPL-style sideline manager, with a suite of tactical and game day coaches.
And to be honest, I don’t know why that is particularly a problem, probably overdue in the AFL given how complex the job is now.
Port would be fools not to re-sign Hinkley.
That was an absolute classic... Essendon fans going from 10 to 0 in the blink of an eye... Good job Port helping us out in our battle to scrape into the 8 and get wiped in finals.
