Confidence, form and polish are invaluable from this point onwards for those teams. Tightening up some structures and skills, feeling tangible rewards for some of the efforts at training that you haven't been seeing on field can be really valuable heading in to finals. Ultimately you only get out of it what you put in and want to get out of it.

I’d say the only one is Gunston - he had an extremely favourable match up and took advantage. Probably Lyons too but he is only depth now.

Hipwood on the other hand, wasted game trying to take potshots from 60. Need to know your range. These guys who take shots from 55 on the boundary need an analytics coach to call them ******* moronic - do not take the 1% option. Square it up ffs.

Be an interesting game Brownlow night. Gunston got on the end of a few but created enough of his own to be rewarded for the 6, Neale & Ashcroft were both big but didn’t rack up especially huge numbers, Ashcroft didn’t waste a touch, and Rayner I thought was impressive. Andrews dominant but a key defender.

West Coast were preserving energy for next Sunday's home game against Richmond.

With the Tigers on only 96.9%, and all teams currently above them on the table at least 10% higher, a % booster for them next week is extra important.

It looks better than it should but that has more to do with the Lions inaccurate goal kicking than Eagles flooding tactics

Hard to stay switched on when you know even before the game you are going to win comfortably. Very impressive from us today, put the game to bed early and cruised to the siren with no new injuries.

Gotta question the way the Eagles are playing, chip kicking all over the backline with no intent of attacking. They are s**t enough to watch without playing this bullshit style. Players aren’t going to improve playing a limited gameplan rather than taking the game on. I’d sack Simpson.

But we keep hearing how “rich” your club is .. 50 million in the bank , soft cap means nothing to the wealthy WC eagles blah blah blah

So either the people in charge of the books don’t share that view or your club (nissy) in particular is just doubling down
