Bit of a dour game for most of it. Another top 4 finish coming up for the Brions - would hate to see them bundle it in a prelim again as has become their club tradition in recent history.

Was it game of the year? No
Was it super skills? No

Tactical game and a struggle but Lions were just that little bit cleaner and better in the forward line and had more winners around the ground.

Cats had plenty of chances but inefficiency up front, more underperforming players on the night and kicking 7.11 instead of 11.7 was the difference - not the umpires.

Not convinced Gunners and Zorks in the best 22 either

The problem with Geelong this year is their midfield is super average.. Forwards can’t do much if they aren’t getting good ball delivery…
