West Coast are actually giving it a decent crack today, there is an actual intensity and it's good to see. They're not being completely obliterated. There is definitely a gulf in class between the 2 sides but for a side bottoming out: West Coast are fighting the good fight. Definitely not the same effort as 2 weeks ago.

What do you make of where the Eagles are at? It's baffling how far they have fallen.

There's what, 9 players out there under the age of 20?

Then you have players like Sheed & Gaff, who have been overly reliant on Shuey/Yeo/Redden to feed the ball out to them.

TK's the only one who's added another dimension to his game.

Shuey/Hurn on last legs.

Added to that, the end comes fast for WA based players unfortunately.

Injuries haven't helped either, as having mass changes most weeks ruins any chance of the players gelling together.

It is what it is. A couple more years of this before the slow climb back of begins for real.

Effort's all we want to see. There wasn't any in the Sydney game, nor the week before.
