Well played

The umpire chooses if a iplayer is within scoring distance not the player.

Isn't that the players discretion? With no-one in the FWD line you can expect Fog to kick it 60 + whatever the ball bounces. You can't boot a ball away after a free-kick...

EDIT, Thilthorpe not Fog

the afl is also ****ing insane for playing a friday night game in tasmania in the middle of winter. what kind of spectacle did they think they would get?

It's part of their plan to get a stadium with a roof in Tassie.

Are there any games these days where you don't feel like the AFL umpires are actively supporting one team over the other team.

The umpires are supposed to be neutral but they insert themselves into games to sway the result in favour of their chosen team.
Has there ever been a game where you’ve thought that plugger?

Easy to pick our a few contentious frees that confirm your bias while ignoring the rest. Rule book seemed to be more than fine for Adelaide in the first half when they were building a lead.

You've embarrassed yourself in every Hawthorn game day thread this year. I get it, we took your defender, tricked you into taking Hawthorn's first rounder instead of Carlton's, and then thumped you. But for ****s sake get over it, and go back to supporting your own team instead of clogging Hawthorn game day threads with your torrent of tears.
Barrass was huge tonight so I bet it really stung. I still struggle to see why people obsessively death ride a club that dares acquire a want-away player though.

It didn’t get near his foot stop being blind, take the crows glasses off and have a look.

He didn’t slap it either it came off his hands yes but no umpire is ever paying it because it’s in the act of picking it up in a contest.

This is a pathetic cop out

He reached down with one hand and knocked towards the boundary

If he was trying to pick it up, it was one the worst attempts I’ve ever seen
