Not sure if someone has already answered in the thread, but invest some money into your medical team. I was getting 5-6 week injuries every game, bumped them up to 8 and now I'm getting barely any

That explains it. Mines only at level 3.

Seems every game I get multiple players suffering injuries with many of them long term.

Order update. Placed the order with PSN at 8am this morning.

Received my confirmation email from Sony.

Tracking shows it as being about 20 minutes away. Does anyone know if it's not here by the end of the day if PSN delivers on public holidays or am I going to have to ring Sony or my ISP to see what's going on?

Live in Europe and have bought it online on the Xbox store. 99 AUD$. I had to haha he my location to AUS for the store location to find the game. I had to do this for AFL 1 too. Perhaps it’s on the euro stores but I doubt it.

Could you actually play it?

JB use toll as a carrier I have had terrible experiences with them in the past so I wouldn’t hold my breath about them leaving the package

I’ve had them literally pull onto my driveway and than leave without even knocking on the door and saying I wasn’t home
They didn’t even attempt to make the delivery

This happened to me too. Overnight package and it took them three weeks to deliver it, but damned if I was going to do their job for them and pick it up. I just bugged their customer service people as much as I could until they delivered it. **** them.

Mine arrived this morning. Though, ordered Friday so not really a pre-order, just an order.

Now to sit through a day of work while it sits in front of me before I can play it. At least it came before the long weekend.

Had a quick game this morning. It seems to play well for the most part especially with the movement of AI players, however the graphics and jarring commentary were worse than I feared. Huddo and Lyon were good choices though.

Will see how I go after work. Gameplay promising, presentation less so.

First impressions:

Game loading time (copyright screens to title menu, to selecting teams, and loading into a match itself) is annoyingly long. I guess I'm too used to to the loading of the console version, or even the pc version which loaded instantly for me .

They need to add an option for game speed in the menus ala Evolution 1, the speed of the game is too fast (like watching a highlights video on fast forward).

I know people don't like that other poster that whinged about it a few days ago, but I tend to agree. The graphics have improved somewhat from Evolution 1 (when looking at stationary images), but in doing what they have done.... the overall visual presentation is annoying me. I'm disappointed in the jerkyness/frame rate struggles the game has at times. It's almost like trying to run Duke Nukem 3D on a slow 486 compared to a Pentium PC!!!! . I don't know how else to describe it, maybe going from a rough looking Tekken 1, to the smoothness of Tekken 7 ?
Evolution 1 played a lot smoother on console (granted it was far more fluid on pc). I have to get used to it but thus far, I'll be hoping for a better experience if/when the pc version does get released later in the year.

I mastered the ruck contests straight away (at least my Evolution 1 tactic still works, won every hit out!).
Marking is very hit and miss, I hope I learn the timing properly... with the current speed of the game that looks doubtful
I like the goal kicking meter, it's better than Evolution 1 where I rarely got the marker in the max range.
Had one set shot almost directly in front, that I still managed to spray out on the full, that was somewhat hilarious
CPU AI did something similar, easiest of set shots you'd ever see.... but still Travis Cloked it (amused me that it was Ablett who did this!!).

CPU doesn't get pinged for the high tackles like I do Amusingly I had one instance where the CPU did get pinged for doing a high tackle on me........ yet they won the free kick ?

Just like Evolution 1, I turned the game commentary off before my first game. That way I'm not put off by how annoying it is

Someone suggested decreasing run speed for both user and AI to 0. That, combined with increasing the time for holding the ball which reduces my tendency to panic clear, has made for a slower and more enjoyable game

Exactly the same thing happened for me as well
It was meant to be a quick delivery but it ended up taking weeks
Like yourself I refused to go pick it up
At one point I requested they just do a delivery without signing at my home because I was working but when I came home I still had a card saying no one was at home to sign for it
I went ballistic over it

never had so much difficulty with one company

There isn’t that many teams they should have just recorded the same statement over including the team names rather than clipping it
