Probably what is even odder is why Goodwin not an automatic selection across half back for port last season. We lacked pace and athleticism, 2 things Goodwin has. All Aust 2022 u18 half back flanker and Sanfl team of year half back flanker and as a 17 YEAR OLD described as best rebounding defender in history of sanflw. Yet Port preferred to select other young players in back line ahead of her in first games of season. Then we dropped her after showdown when she was one of few port players who could keep up with crows. Only played 55% game in showdown but had more impact than those who on feild for most of game. Who could blame her for wanting out.

Thanks Mr Goodwin. Although I do agree with you mostly.
