Teams Baltimore Ravens - Rise and Conquer

Even IF we had Rodgers, We won’t pay WR, so they aren’t ever going to consider Baltimore.

Bateman even If he goes over 1,000 yards, will get traded and NOT extended.

thats garbage, your offense would look completely different with Rodgers. You'd value players differently.

Yeah thats true. Harbaugh/co have built the Ravens around Jackson. The offense itself, and thus focus on pulling OL, FBs and H-Backs, options, blocking WRs, and reliance on D as always.

When Flacco was still starting and still good, they built the offense around him (his arm), they gave him receiving weapons.

We still refused to trade for a WR1 and never truly paid for one in their prime.

Baltimore won’t pay for a WR unless Newsome is no longer around. TE will be paid but not WR (Newsome a former TE ).

And GB is paying for a WR1?

WR1’s aren’t worth paying unless you have a developing QB or a mediocre one.
It's true what you say for a number of teams, but also untrue, many other teams with a top QB still pay for a WR1. Depends, team by team basis, as well as what other big contracts are looming, existing star players key to the OL or D.

You do realise they had been paying Adams after his rookie deal before he left and made him a bigger offer than the Raiders did this offseason dont you?

I have a bridge to sell you. It’s only slightly earthquake damaged…. just a few missing pylons.

Adams and the Packers have both said the contract was more than Vegas offered him. Its been well reported, look it up.

Theyre still going at it (lamar and bernard, not adp and littleg)

Check Jackson's feed. Check Pollard's feed. There’s simply too much to summarize.

Pollard taking a shot at Jackson for refusing to play out the season with a rolled ankle, another great point, he refused to do so coz he knows without scrambling hes garbage from the pocket and it would have cost him money. Selfish, put himself above the team.

Lamar dick riders are incoherent mongs aren't they? frfr lil bra

Not a great look haha.

Needs some people in his corner, that he would listen to, that would tell him to put that phone down and take a deep breath or two.

As he said himself 'silence is golden'.

CBS Sports' Jonathan Jones believes Lamar Jackson should be "aiming to match and top [Deshaun] Watson's guaranteed deal" in his contract negotiations with the Ravens.

"That should still be the bar for Jackson," Jones said, adding that Kyler Murray's contract extension shouldn't impact Jackson's talks with the Ravens. "Obviously, negotiations are what they are, so what one side's starting point is doesn't mean that will be the ending point. Perhaps Watson's deal will remain anomalous as NFL team owners act as though it doesn't exist." Watson signed a fully-guaranteed five-year, $230 million deal with Cleveland -- $80 million more than the previous record for guaranteed money. It seems unlikely the Ravens will top Watson's guarantees, though Jackson's extension should top Murray's recent deal. Jackson -- who is not represented by an agent -- continues his prolonged talks with the Ravens as the team's training camp kicks off.

Ravens placed LT Ronnie Stanley (ankle) on the active/PUP list.

Stanley is still working his way back from a devastating ankle injury that happened midway through the 2020 season. He missed all but one contest last year and has required multiple surgeries. There was once word that Stanley might never truly be back to 100% health. Last month, coach John Harbaugh said Stanley was looking "great," but he's obviously not yet cleared to practice.

Ravens placed RB Gus Edwards (knee) on the active/PUP list.

Like backfield mate J.K. Dobbins, Edwards is wrapping up his rehab from last summer's torn ACL. Both players are opening camp on PUP and can be activated at any time. We tentatively expect both players to be ready for Week 1, but Edwards' rehab has been quieter than Dobbins', so it's impossible to know.

Ravens placed RB J.K. Dobbins (knee) on the active/PUP list.

Gus Edwards (knee) joins Dobbins there, as both are rehabbing torn ACLs from last summer. Both running backs can be activated at any time during camp. Dobbins said last week that he's "damn sure" going to be ready for Week 1. We're unlikely to see either running back play in the preseason.

A few QB doing those performances during blowout losses.

Only 1 game there I can think of for Jackson (v Bengals), that was a blowout. The rest, he was trying to pull out the win.

In terms of salary cap expenditure, Ravens in bottom half for spending on RB, OL & WR. WR likely to be in bottom 4, if not last. So, LJ producing these numbers with a mediocre supporting cast.

Without Hollywood dropping the ball & asking for more targets, his numbers should improve this year.
