Both teams were shithouse in their last 6 overs really. Difference maybe was that at least Canes had David in with the duds.

Missing the big Bison at 3. Hobson just isn’t it. Still should have won it comfortably against one of the best sides on paper on their home deck so it’s not all bad

First time I have heard of this Dooley guy but sense Hobart wont be dropping him from here on to the end of the tournament especially when Shadab departs .

If he keeps bowling like that, he will be playing in the Australian T20 side and possibly even the ODI side.

Anyone that can not only land it, but genuinely spin the ball (not just straighten) with a wrongun in T20 cricket will make a very lucrative career for themselves.

His wrongun was exceptional last night.

Absolutely bizarre you have an unknown like this emerge out of 2nd XI cricket with this potential and apparently this good already.

Interesting that he's been playing in the T10 comp in Abu Dhabi, must have really honed his craft recently.

Hobart are always so frustrating. Every season they are 2 players short of having a good side, which is usually down to ******* up the overseas signings. This year missing a middle order bat and a good quick that could hold down #8 with the bat.

Jewell must get so pissed off. Jacks, Brook and Ali would literally have struggled to make 100 runs between them across the last 3 seasons.

Doesn’t help that Short has been woeful hech he’s been better with the ball lately for Hobart

if there is one weakness about the Scorchers, is they dont tend to like chasing targets . This game is a case in point.
Scorchers have always been a better side at defending a total due to their bowling attack.

Our batting isn't that strong.
Losing Evans, Marsh and Salt was a big blow.

Thought Turner missed a trick last night by not giving Hardie another over.

IMO, they're the best team in it this year.

Have a great batting line up, good quicks and spinners.

Way too early to tell not convinced with their middle order yet.
On paper, they probably have the best batting line up in the comp with Wade, Short, McDermott and David in the top 6.

I can't think of a better one.

Short has been terrible for 2 years, and David by nature won’t ever be the model of consistency. Do like their bowling attack though
