Happens to every team? None of the squads are that good to begin with. Turner, Richardson, Crawley and Evans as well as Marsh (can’t really claim it but he was there last year). Up there for biggest outs in the comp.

As for the crowd numbers.. it’s the trend to s**t on WA but relatively speaking (population wise) we didn’t do much worse than Melbourne in a far worse time slot. You wouldn’t be able to get a ticket to an Optus Boxing Day test because it’d sell out instantly.

It's not AFL, it's that not many travel over to Perth, it's the same for most of the codes there. In the other states you get more neutrals and more travelling fans, WA is that bit further.

It does happen to a lot of teams. Rashid, Overton, Hose and Lynn are pretty big outs.

It wasn't good the collapse, but the UAE tournament based on one game is suspect.
Daniel Sams team lost 197 to 167, Sams took 1 for 47 of 4 overs, made 4 of 11 before being bowled by Overton.
Surely with 1.4 billion people, about 900 million living in poverty, 25% unemployment and 35% of kids under 5 without enough food to eat
the IPL owners have got better ways to spend money than another cricket league.
