Not bad, but still doesn't beat my best.:D

True vault hunter mode is a challenge thats for sure, currently at lvl 37. Pretty cool that you can choose to switch between that and normal mode, but i guess the XP and loot rewards make the challenge of TVHM worth it

i'll also take that one thank you very much :D....literally over twice as powerful as my current sniper haha

Looks like this is worth getting.

I hope it has less Skags than the previous game.

yeah it definitely is.....what system are you playing on?

also it definitely has more variety in enemies....having to kill skags non stop in the first was annoying to me also

PS3.

I got pretty bored with single player in the first game. Not only the skags but the repetitiveness of the missions - kill X of these, collect X of these, etc. Awesome co-op though.

I'm really enjoying the main storyline, haven't done many side missions though, are they worth it and can you do them after you finish?

Look what I have and can't use..

Yeah some of the funniest parts to the game are the side missions.

I usually try and finish off side quests i have on me before i hit the next part of the story, definitely worth doing everything at least the 1st time through, now im on my 2nd playthrough im tearing through the story and picking some random quests i liked before.

First to hit lvl 50 gets Freakies pistol :thumbsu:

Yeah this is what I do. Complete all optional missions and then move onto the story stuff.

It's well worth doing the side missions. You get all sorts of stuff ranging from cool guns, to skins, to eridium, to XP and coins. And there's a shitton of side missions to do as well.

My favourite was Finks Slaughterhouse, a little repetitive, but super fun. And I'm pretty sure Mark Hamill was the announcer.

Only 24 more levels until I can use my gun!!

Finished my second playthrough on True Vault Hunter mode last night. Level 50, 65k HP & 41K Orange Shield + The orange class mod you get for killing Terramorphus "Slayer of Terramorphus".

lvl 30 ATM and i reckon im on the last mission (talking to everyone in town and they're handing me items to use) Gave my next character (Siren) a bit of an XP boost, plugged in the 2nd controller, created new character and had it join my game sitting in a safe spot while i went around killing and completing quests. Got it to lvl 11 really quickly but sadly the weapons dont scale to your level when starting out (even now im at sanctuary i can only get lvl 8 stuff) have a couple of purples stored away for it to use and claptraps stash locker is full of other siren mods and shields to use when that becomes available.

Will be trying to max out my commando main so once ive finished i might load up the siren as 2nd player and level that up at the same time.

Used this tactic today as I went and did some side missions for commando, I now have a level 13 Assassin for my next play through.

Found an orange grenade today

Not being a true fan of this genre I found I got bored with this game, so much so I took it back and traded it in. I tried to like it, I really did but it just didn't do it for me.

Handling was ok, sound phenomonal and graphics outstanding. That being said I'm sure lovers of previous title will find this exceptional. Still has not been able to convert me though.:thumbsu:

I think I will probably get it. Less skags + more interesting missions = more fun. I will hold off buying it til I have time to play it though.

These sorts of games are always better as co-op though. I don't really enjoy FPSs by myself.

I'm really late to the borderlands bandwagon, only just started playing it on Xbox 360, but I am really enjoying it.

How the hell do you get past Saturn, that machine is a monster and absorbs all my ammo trying to kill it!! I slipped past it twice to be confronted with a nega constructor!!
