Done a smashing job since coming across the Nullarbor. Was widely derided at the time of appointment as a boys club appointment. Being eating large servings of humble pie ever since along with Simpson and hickmont as our most important people footy wise imo.

Was assistant coach for 3 years Yeo, Shuey and gaff improved markedly under his tutelage. Been a revelation as a list manager fleeced Gold Coast and Sydney for pick swaps. New deals long term for Gaff, Gov, Shep, Yeo, Shuey, Cripps, Barrass, Darling, Nic in that time period and picked up since 2016. Brander, Allen, Cameron, Rioli, Waterman, Petch, Venables, waterman, Ryan.

Would be hugely disappointed to loose him but I wish him well regardless of his choice has been an excellent addition to the back room staff

Um, WTF is with this bit?

"North is yet to make contact with highly-respected Richmond list manager Blair Hartley."

I'm tipping there are over 500 other people employed by the 17 AFL clubs that we are also yet to make contact with.
I just read it as being that we weren't chasing anyone else.

The coasters appear to be impressed with BR so I would be happy if we can pinch him.

Their club is predominately North run, but for some reason we let our people go elsewhere to win premierships and bring in outsiders.

Just need Pratty, Dish and Simmo back now. We’re getting the band back together!

Most of what he has done hasn't had time to be judged but there are already some really big wins.

I hope to God that he is able to get people to develop the talent as well. We have been poor in developing what we get for years.
