Last time we met them we had:

9+ inside 50's
3+ contested possessions
6+ uncontested possessions
10+ centre clearances
10+ stoppage clearances

We're in with a good crack!
My recollection of the game was that our forward line was dysfunctional and the ball left too easily, which meant the ball went into their forward line more easily. Hopefully with Tommahawk/Menz/Henry we can kick a few more and be competitive.

If Harry Taylor is fit, he comes in for Tom Stewart and Jack Henry goes to defence and Harry goes forward.
Or..
Thurlow comes in, Or Crameri comes in and goes Forward and Henry goes to defence. .
Fit as not in pain? Or hardened and sharp, ready for 4Q of action?
Somehow, I doubt either are real this week.

This makes zero sense. You FINALLY have Stanley playing like a
Ruckman, and you want to
Upset that Apple Cart and make him okay forward half the night? For the love of God please no.
He still is a ruckman. It just means we don’t have Henry or menegola playing ruck but a good ruckman the whole game.

I think that Thurlow's papers have been stamped.
Regardless whether Thurlow's papers have been stamped or not he is the logical choice, watched his half of footy before he was taken off at half time last week, was clearly a class above, The trouble with Geelong is they are Backing there best 22 in regardless of form, as I said earlier Thurlow slots straight in for Guthrie, if they want to keep Guthrie play him in Stewart's position and leave Henry forward, lets wind back the clock, Thurlow was Drafted as a Half Back to replace Enright, as a Club Geelong has not given the Kid the opportunity, regardless of his injury, he is certainly over it, has had good Form for several weeks for no Reward.

Off the wall selection, but id like to see Miers come in.
Strikes me as a big game player and would be interesting to see what he does.
We know Jones aint really an answer this year, and can we just forget about Linc.
Also its time to bring in Z.Smith. See if we can stretch the Tiges with 2 proper rucks.
Not really expecting to win so worth trying a couple of things.
In: O'connor, Miers, Smith
Out: Stewart, Kolo, Guthrie
Off the wall is right.

No need for Smith.
No need to drop a defender given Stewy is out. Let alone for two blokes NOWHERE near ready.

Just No. No. No. No.

I’d be happy to be within 12 points at final siren and no injuries. Out Stewart. In Ablett Snr. (I think he’d still love playing Richmond).
That makes me smile just at thought of the old Gazza v Richmond days. They were truly glorious.

If you think we can beat Richmond or make a GF doing what we're doing then fair enough, i can see why it makes no sense.
If you don't then why not try something else for a game?
What makes no sense is repeating the same things and expecting different results.

There's a part of me still sitting in the old Olympic stand, pen in hand, wondering why the Footy Record never gave more goal-space next to G. Ablett. Bairstow was gifted quite a few against the Tigers.

Cause Murdoch, Thurlow or Zuthrie are gonna make the difference this week yeah?
Where have I said bring any of them in?
If they send Henry back I say K.I.S.S and Crameri in.
