Out: Bergman, Larkey, Mahony and Young
In: Corr, Mckay, Powell and Phillips

B: Turner McKay Bonar
HB: McDonald Corr scott
C: Stephenson LDU Taylor
HF: Greenwood Walker Ziebell
F: Zurhaar CCJ Curtis
R: Goldy JHF Simpkin
I: Perez Powell Phillips Thomas

I still think we could easily argue larkeys suspension to low impact

Comben could come in for walker if ready

It's a miracle our midfield is the only area that hasn't really been stifled.

I'd argue that it has.

Or at least that there has been a lack of continuitity in there.
Our best mids and games missed/interupted:

Jy - no games
JHF - no games
Greenwood - no games

Sleevo - 1 game out, half of most games forward
LDU - 1.75(?) games
Thomas - 2.75(?) games and played one hurt
Powell - I am not doing the analysis on his game time, a bunch as Sub

Cunnington - all games
Anderson - All games
Phillips - All games

We have had Jy and 2 new blokes as mainstays and the rest have been in and out, or out completely.

The idea that the midfield is untouched is a myth.

Excellent. I can go to bed at half time and not feel guilty about not watching it.
And then through something miraculous we will cause an upset and win and we will have all missed it! Hold on, this sounds like a plan!

Then what about bloody Simpkin and sometimes LDUs lack of defensive pressure? They get a pass on the account that they hack the ball forward whilst Powell is penalised for actually looking and hitting up targets inside 50 due to having some semblance of a brain?

Simpkin had a game high of 10 tackles and had 26 pressure acts. Least of our problems.

Small ball forward line

Curtis - Zurhaar - Ziebell
Mahony - Thomas - JHF

:Stern look of small ball
Every F50 entry is to be a mongrel end over end grubber along the ground, no chance an intercept mark. Forwards to be in front all night. Could not be any worse than the predictable long bomb shit that hasn't worked for the last 2 years.

Ugh, that game pissed me off so much. The sad thing is Freo weren't even that good... we allowed them to break us so easily with stupid turnovers, fumbles and structures that made us so predictable. All they had to do was hunt the turnover.

Bailey Scott's debut game too right? I remember him being distinctly clean with his disposal and our senior players butchering it when they got the receive.

These changes won't happen and I am not 100% on Chom's availability, but still...

Out: Larkey (suspension), Walker and Bergman

In: Chom, McKay and Corr
