Harry is in his third season. McKercher is in his second and FOS is in his first. They've barely started their careers. Its going thru this stuff that builds resilience. Its doesn't kill it. If you can't hack it you never had that resilience to begin with.
Its taken Darcy four years to be on the verge of becoming a superstar. In a pretty good side. You could say the same about Paul Curtis because his start to the season was elite by any standards. It was his fourth year too. Darcy isn't there yet but he does have that Carey like ability to take contested marks. (Sort of. Dunno how he'd perform under the sort of physical pressure Carey copped.) Paulie isn't either but if he builds on his start to the season next year he'll be the best non kp forward in the game by a mile.
They'll respond. If they don't respond we will know they are not fair dinkum
He seemed to be ok early in the season but has been invisible for weeks now. Time for a spell in the VFL.Solid?
He’s played every game as a specialist forward and has kicked 10 goals while getting the ball a couple of times a quarter.
He’s been poor

We already know they're not fair dinkumThrow everything at these blokes. Seriously I don't hate the bring in Wardlaw, Payne, keep Konstanty in, keep Banch in, and tell everyone go hell for leather for 120 minutes, damn the torpedoes. If there was ever a time for a response it would be now. Leave nothing on the table. If they don't respond we will know they are not fair dinkum

A pack of deluded idiots going to the football.Well yeah but I mean what are we if we do not have hope
We will likely just return to our regular pattern of losing the game in a 10 minute stretch where the opposition pile on goals.
Let’s hope it’s at northI’m more interested in seeing where Harry, FOS, McK are at 25 years of age
And throw in Whitlock for that matter
With losses like last week, you typically 'back them in' or 'make a statement'.
We've taken option A too many times over the last couple of years.
Radio silence from the club this week. Disappointing. Particularly with a downward trend line the last month, and that cherry served up on Saturday night.
I believe it's time for a statement. If it's 2/3 changes with regulars resuming their positions, and none of the untouchables going out, I'll be p1ssed off.
I love that cat. It should live with me.So you will be

(BTW, I'm not the sort who always asks for a swing of the axe, most scenarios need support for the team. however, the occasional foot up the r's is needed, and I think now is the time. If there are no significant changes, with no communication from the club this week, it feels like the club is acting like nothing ever happened - that's why I think statement at selection should be the result).

He should be the first regular to make way
Gimme some of that good stuff.I think North win. Playing our bogie teams Hawks, Bulldogs, and Cats just deflated the team IMO. We were competitive against the Dogs until the final 30 minutes, and every other game, we were similarly there 3/4 of the games. Cut out some of the noise, and if the team puts in an effort thats more consistent with the majority of games played this year, they will beat the Saints.
The Saints played their GF last week - they don't have a huge amount to play for. I expect a bit of a hangover against North.,
Love this. The more changes the better. After last week we can't afford to back the same line up in. We need a refresh.I’d look at a minimum of 5 changes this week, need to make a bit of a statement on a few as well.
Out - CD, Logue, JK, Hansen Jnr & Maley
In - Larkey, Payne, Harvey, Wardlaw, Ford
Backs - Ford, Pink, Hardeman
CHB - Kerch, Comben, Dursmaa
Wing - Stephens, LDU, FOS
CHF - Payne, Darling, Curtis
FF - Banch, Larkey, Zurhaar
Ruck - Teakle, Parker, Wardlaw
Bench - Sheez, Powell, Jy, W Dawson, Harvey
Could easily make a couple more changes but hate making more than 5 changes unless injuries force your hand.
