Resisting the urge to drop every midfielder will be very, very difficult.

Out: Tarrant (crap, bite the bullet and pension him off), Peake (needs a kick up the arse), Thornton (still not ready)

Do Josh Carr and Des have good games in credit? Because that's three average games in the row for JC and two for Des.

In: Obrien, Mi.Johnson, Campbell? Murphy? Hinkley?

Rubbish. He ****'s us up structurally and wrecks any promising strings of play with half hearted contests when the midfield kicks it to him. If he was doing something productive playing up the ground I'd be prepared to cut him a bit of slack but he manifestly is not!

People who made the Croad Mk.II call are looking very prescient.

He does? Thats just prejudice bullshit. He was one of the few players putting in an effort to get to the balla nd caused a turn over in the 2nd quarter thanks to his pressure on the Forward 50. He went well, lead well and even kicked well. Sick of this crap laid on Tarrant.

Yeah Tarrant was ok, just ok.. but better than many others. Peake wasn't, nor was Schammer, Thornton, Dessie, Josh. McPharlin was pretty ordinary, so was Dodd, Duffield, Grover, Mundy and Hayden. Sandi got flogged.

Young guns Palmer and Warnock were very poor. Mayne had a bit of a go.

Interesting to see if I can find 5 players to give votes to???

dont be a w**ker freo big fella. Tarrants game was good today, if any positive come out of today it was the tarrant found the ball.

Peake was ok to IMO.

Mcpharlin was good but we needed him to play on Richo.

i hate to say it but Matt Carr would have been good to tag the likes of foley and mcmahon.

freo had a bad bad day today. im absolutly pissed off

Yeah, like the three leads where he ran at it with his arms by his sides, or where he and Schammer damn near cleaned each other up going for a ball which Farmer had possesion of.

Pressure in the forward 50? Laughable. I'm as optimistic as they come, but when a bloke who's meant to be one of your two key forwards is getting the bulk of his touches in the centre square and not kicking any goals it's time to cut your losses.

tarrant did ok 1 of the very few who actually put in any effort. Nothing great though

Palmer looks like he let all the praise get to him an thinks he superman tried to evade heaps of people,an bust through tackles an ended up doing nothing.

drop the whole useless no hearted bunch of butt monkeys

except
Mayne an bell the rest did nothing

He showed more than Kiwi or Murph have this year. I thought he was just ok. McPharlin wasn't any better than Tarrant today (other than kicking one more goal)

Sorry, but Tarrant was crap. Needs to be dropped for 2-4 weeks to regain some desire to make a contest. Doesn't look interested. A couple of things don't go his way and he drops his bundle.

We're going to take advice from a Hawks bandwagoner? No.

Tarrant is the least of our worries.

The forward delivery was pathetic and has been all year. Pavlich would be well down if he hadnt been moved up into the midfield.

Opposition just are working hard to get extra men in defense and we are stuck.

Tarrant didn't get smashed again in clearances and centre breaks when the game was on the line. That would be our midfield!

You mean the midfield that was a worry two years ago? The one that could have done well to have a young speedster in it, rather than a forward who looks closer to retirement than a premiership? But instead we traded a high pick, in a super draft, for a hack.

Great.

Agreed but I would hate to be a forward in our team at the moment.

He still didn't do enough for AFL level. Put Drum in the side. We all know what he can do when thrown up forward.

Tarrant's pressure at the the game was very good. Chased hard all days and lead over and over.

Peake is a disgrace to the club

swing it harvs

OUT: Tarrent Solomon J.Carr Bell Thornton Sandilands

IN: Foster Hinkley Drum Obrein Murphy Mi Johnson
EM Ibbotson

Grover should be one to look at as well. has been beaten all year. Id rather Bradley than him if he play another sh.t game next week.
Today Terry Wallace said that this game is a running game no need for key position players. As long as you can run the rest will pay off. We need youth. We need players who can run. Just about all these players have been performing since round one a deserve a shot.

The guy is low on confidence but how he ____ is any forward supposed to mark and kick goals when the ball is delivered ankle height or on the half volley?

We were killed in the middle and at every contest. We're slow people, very slow and unaccountable.

I fear our next home game against Geelong.

Out: the slow midfield
In: Brock, Hinckley

I don't think it's just about speed. IMO it's also about intensity of effort ie. mental toughness and wanting the ball more than your opponent.
