In: O'Brien, Drum, Black (if fit)/Foster, Mi Johnson
Out: Peake, Thornton, Duffield, Warnock/Gilmore

on notice: Headland, J Carr, Schammer, Mundy, Tarrant

We surely know now that we are not moving forward with this group. Need to make a few tough decisions and stick to it. Play the young kids, clear out the dead wood at the end of the season.

We also need to determine what we are going to do with Warnock. If we want to keep him, he needs to play every game, otherwise he will want to go home.

headland would not nearly be anywhere close to being on notice...

in: drum, obrien, Mi johnson
out: peake, thornton, warnock

unlucky not to get a game: hinkley black foster

jcarr needs to get an assignment everyweek.. for some reason seems to get lost if he doesnt have a clearly defined role
obrien/hayden to interchange between midfield and defence

In: McGovern , Gilbert , Burrows , Chilsolm ....LOL

Can only laugh at the moment because if you try and analyse the problems youll go Fxxxen Mad ..

The problems are there for all to see lets hope that the blokes who are getting paid very very well see it and DO SOMETHING.... We need to go back and play with aggression if we get reported for going hard at it so be it lets not get caught up in this media discipline crap ... we are soft and need to play as underdogs each week because in reality with our current list that is all we are going to be BARRY BATTLERs...

Headland has a knee injury now anyway.

In: O'Brien, Foster, Drum, Hinkley
Out: Peake, Headland, Crowley, Tarrant,

Don't want to sound as if Headland is the only one because unfortunately he is not, but our mid range to older players are not playing consistent football. It is unacceptable for a senior player to put in 2 poor performances in a row. We should have no protected species and all players should be earning their spot.

You mean the midfield that was a worry two years ago? The one that could have done well to have a young speedster in it, rather than a forward who looks closer to retirement than a premiership? But instead we traded a high pick, in a super draft, for a hack.

Great.

That's not Chris's fault. The spotlight should be on the people who brought a key forward who is a poor kick for goal, with low self confidence who goes missing in big games.

Oh, I forgot. We're making a profit now so list management isn't an issue.

Im betting money we will see:

Andrew Browne - Brock O'brien - Garrick Ibbotson - maybe Andrew Foster

Come into consideration. Freo were impressed with browne and told him to rack up 50 possessions in the WAFL before they will recall him. he has more than done that and looked very sharp and eager on the weekend. O'brien cut an East Fremantle midfield consisting of Carr/Mcmanus/Foster/Ibbotson to ribbons on saturday... Ibbotson wasn't totally consistent but once he found his way he looked really good sprinting forward and his vision was quality. Foster is still a bit underdone i think but might be a chance.

OUT:
Thornton (if he is not willing to run to create from back half, why was he selected?)
Tarrant (better today, but still crappola, doesn't chase enough or hard enough + when he does eventually get a mark he never runs off)
Duffield (As always...plays 1 good game & is crappola for the next month. didn't want to chase or create today)
Peake (Just 9 possies - not enough for a midfielder. Was either Peake or Schammer to miss out in midfield for mine, but as it is in Adelaide & Schamemr often plays well at Aami, Schammer gets yet another chance)
Mundy (Has played 2 blinders & 2 shockers. When he chases he jogs, when he creates - he jogs. Can't tackle. Needs to learn consistency again thru the Wafl)

IN;
Johnson (self explanatory)
Black (at least adds skill...though discipline is definitely in question ATM)
O'Brien (adds pace & hardness to midfield)
Drum (simply better than Thornton)
Murphy (deserves next month to play at Full Forward & lets learn one way or another whether he is our future leading goalkicker or not)

LAST CHANCE;
Headland (started like a house on fire, but has done nothing for 2 weeks straight...was he injured today?)
Crowley (doesn't play team football..makes wrong decisions with foot skills....would Foster, Hinkley or Ibbotson be better options?)

Thornton was a poor selection, too many talls, too many defenders.
I think we need to persevere with Tarrant, what's done is done.
Duffield I'm not sure about, atleast his workrate is first class.
Peake has to go.
Mundy too, make an example of anyone who doesn't give 100%.

I hope you're talking Mark Johnson, Michale has been crap for 12 months.
Agree on Black.
Brock has to play and I'll be pissed if he doesn't.
Drum hasn't been in great form but wouldn't be too disappointed if he was picked. I'd like to drop some talls for smalls though, Crows don't have a tall forward line.
No Murphy for mine.

Headland has to play 22 games, he's our only player with pace and skills who can also lay a tackle. Hopefully he can come to grips with a tag, if we were to drop him that tag would go to Palmer.
Crowley has been disappointing after a fantastic 2006 and a very good pre-season.

We must have watched a different game on Saturday. Ibbo is a lazy mofo and Foster looked close to a month off.

Browne was rested in the final quarter after playing well in the first 3 so hopefully that's a good sign.

In- Black, Browne, O'Brien, Mark Johnson
Out- Thornton, Peake, Mundy, Dessie (if injured, if not Duffield).

As long as Foster and Obrien come in not at the expense of Mayne or Palmer which won't occur anyway as they have been playing well (relative anyway) i'll be happy.

Not being rude DOCKER MAN but you need to pay more attention to WAFL form. Foster has just started playing WAFL seniors after a back injury and looked a few weeks off on Saturday.

Well apparently one change will be forced by the MRP...Doddy got a week. No idea what for, probably just because. Drum would have to come in for him. And/or Head.

Foster is no chance for at least another 2 weeks based on match fitness. O'Brien could be a show though.

Looking at the Freo site, Mark Johnson is still listed as a week away, and Black is a test with a sore hip. I think Blackie needs 2-3 weeks of good solid WAFL work. He's basically played 1 game (the derby) in the last month.

I wouldn't be in a rush to bring Michael Johnson back either. If he performs well on the track, maybe give him a go at Mundy's expense, but unless he stars, send him back through the WAFL.

Drum must come in and Warnock needs to be persisted with. He is still a kid and is going to have some bad games along the line.

The players who have not been performing need to be put on notice - they need to perform against the Crows, and then they need to keep performing every week after that, or they are out. No more having one good game every few weeks saving their skins.

Yeh fair call but from what i have heard he played well and was one of East Freo's best he should come into the Dockers over the next few weeks if his form continues/improves

Also heard on 10 news tonight that Dodd has been rubbed out for a week for "tripping" not sure if Freo are challenging it, from the footage it looked like a piss weak trip. Massive blow if he doesn't player as he has been one of our best players this year, was also the ideal matchup for Burton, McPharlin or Mi Johnson(if fit) will probably get the job now.

Pretty sure we're challenging it, Dodd can't get a reduction with an early plea so there is nothing to lose.

Nothing in it, ridiculous that he was even charged IMO.
