I feel like I'm in an abusive relationship, every time she says this time it will be different and every time it's the same.
I can just see how the week will play out, we'll get a stern and terse Harvey telling a smirking Basil it's unacceptable, an embarrassed Haze will tell Lachy the boys know it's not good enough and they are going to have a real dip this week and then on Thursday night we'll see the same team with maybe 1 in if Hayden is fit. Drum, Hinkley, DeBoer will all line up for the WAFL and Head, Browne & Thornton will roll out for Freo.
God I hope that's not true.

Seems sort of an appropriate thread for this. I find a very simplistic, but fairly accurate, way to judge the effectiveness of a player's game is to compare DT vs SC scores. The latter including hard ball gets, effective kicks, clangers, etc ... this should indicate something at least. So far, there is a fairly small sample of games ... but it tells a story:



Note that some evil god has messed with Suban and Thornton. Give them another game and they will switch positions I think.

i rate duffield although i agree that he should predomiantly play in the midfield and hbF as he does find the ball a lot and at least he shows some balls with his confidince and run unlike a few other insipid freo players such as thornton browne tarrent and peake

He stepped on the line kicking in from a behind in the first 2 minutes of the game which resulted in an Essendon goal. Then he got within a couple of millimetres of the line in the 2nd half.

Probably the most stupid combo of stupid stupidity I have seen. Duffield steps on the line, then Sandilands proceeds to smash the ball 10m into the crowd from the bounce. The game was over after 2 minutes when I saw that.

Depends on the break really. I broke my nose in my cycling days and needed surgery to piece it together again. Wore a mask for about a week and wasn't allowed on my bike for that time.

It was much more embarrassing than that, actually. I smashed into a parked car while out training. My attention was momentarily with a cute girl I just passed and I failed to notice the car in time.

Anyway, I learned the painful wat that not all broken noses can be righted with a quick snap back the other way.

Unfortunately my mad crashing skillz did not impress her She ignored me while I picked myself up cursing and bled my way to the hospital.

I can remember being outraged at my own stupidity, but I'm sute that rage will be matched if we persist with playing Head and Thornton over Broughton and Drum, and Browne over Hinkley or De Boer.
