Vardy out? No way... they have Grundy plus Vardy has been better than Lycett the last 2 weeks.

In: JK (self explanatory), Jetta (need his supply off HB)
Out: Allen (no fault of his own but not JK), Schoey (been good but if it is between him and Barrass then B stays. Takes important intercept marks when it matters)

Some tough calls going to be made team wise to get JK and Jetta back in. Everyone did their job this week, whoever misses going to be unlucky.

Would need to trade another ruck in. Lycett is trying to secure a huge contract at the moment and it would be a shocking mistake to give him Naitanui, Gardiner or Cox type contracts. He is the worst ruckman WCE has had in a long time.

Currently playing himself out of a huge contract IMO.

God I wish we had trialled a 1 ruck plus chopout in the last 6 weeks

TB could go alright in the ruck - meaning the flexibility of dropping vardy

But we have been too conservative to try it and it’d be a huge risk to ruck against Grundy that way

Yep, the MC have a tough gig for the QF. I really want Oscar Allen to keep his spot in the 22, but I don't see how we can swingle it. He offers great flexibility.

Do we keep going with 2 rucks? I guess so based on history but it felt like Vardy went past Lycett as our preferred centre square ruckman today. Do we get more flexibility retaining the extra tall in exchange for say Lycett?

Schoey provided valuable run off HB today but also made some crucial spoils - he keeps his spot ahead of Jetts who isnt defensive anyway.

Lecca on notice - if he has a poor final Ah Chee to come in for the second final. His wrist might be hampering him. Kept trying to bump blokes as well, clearly a bit frustrated. Structurally he might be good however, as he knows our forward set-up much better than Ahchee.

- Would be a brave coach who leaves out Jetta, he virtually single handedly got us across the line in extra time against port last year.

-I thought Schofield had a good game against Brisbane, he's accountable and plays tight, which frees up Barrass and Gov to zone off and play their normal games.

-this is really not the game to go in with one ruckman. It might be worth considering against Richmond/Hawthorn/Sydney but we need to share the load against the better rucks.

With that in mind I think

Duggan has to go. Every kick he had was a turn over. We cant bring that into finals. He needs to get better

Kennedy will be in for Allen. Simmo hinted it in post presser. Liked his game and development but can see that he was only in for one match as a reward for form and his extremely raw.

Barrass calls are a bit too much. He was pretty much best on the previous two weeks. Had a bad game against Brissie but a few did aswell. Was not that bad. Just needs to be more focused on his man from time to time. He usually is great one on one in a contest.

Schofield is too loose to play on de goey and and not agile enough. He is their most dangerous so has to be Shep on him
