Not sure if you got an answer, but my reserved seat ticket isn't ready yet. It's telling me half an hour, so I don't know if that's something similar that's affecting you at all.
Yep, you're spot on. It is available for me now.

Thanks šŸ‘

After Jackson Macrae's press conference I am more concerned Bont will not get up. He started saying he will play for sure, then said a less than 100% fit Bont is still a real asset and then he still have a few days ago for him to prove his fitness. Seemed less certain the more he spoke about it.

Paves the way for Robbie McComb

My pass was there when I went in to the app. How do they know whether you are a social club member. Nothing on the pass suggests so.

Good point. I can't see anything there and none of the FAQs answer that question. Did any of the plastic tickets we have note social club on them? Do we just show the silver badge maybe?

Can’t see VDM being out as his pace needed for Saad and/or Williams off half back. Same could be said about Hannan who maybe gets Docherty or the other.
If Bont not right I could see O’BRIEN in for him and playing forward for the week or maybe swapping with Cordy/Schache in that role.
All 3 of the above could be chop out ruck or one of later 2 out for Martin. I say Martin as it appears he’s still ahead of Sweet

It's not only the chop out in the ruck, it is also the ability to play some forward minutes and be dangerous.

English based on last weeks game is improving in his ruck work and can probably take on 60% to 70% and would want that. Though Martin is a better ruck than Sweet he is far inferior up forward, at least Sweet can create a contest down there to support Naughton in the air. It is why it really is perplexing as to why Martin played that role in the pre season games and not Sweet and we are still looking at Martin being ahead of Sweet.

I wish we had experimented with Gardner chopping out in the ruck compared with Cordy. At least he is 197cm and has some athleticism. I have no faith in Gardner as a ruckman but I don't see why we couldn't run a structure where Gardner simply matches the oppositions 2nd ruck whilst he is forward and then into the ruck. He could've followed Jackson into the ruck & De Koning this week to give English a break if we refuse to play two rucks. It's a better option than whatever Cordy is doing.

We could then play Jamarra forward and I'd still look at keeping Schache in the team on the bench to cover multiple lines.

Gardner played ruck in his early games he is woeful. He is a punch only defender thats it

I’ve decided Schache should stay too as cover, he can be an acceptable 3rd/4th tall at either end or go through the ruck. Geez it was a bad game though.

Sweet/Tim 50/50 ruck forward, Keath, Gardener & O’Brien down back Naughty, Jamarra, RR up forward. Schache on the bench. No Cordy, No Hannan. Please Bev Please just ****ing try it, how many times can we be shown that this structure we love to play with does not work, how many more times can that be proven?

Chances of this happening are genuinely next to 0 but anyway, who knows maybe playing one ruck and One genuine forward might work this time, I mean 37th time a charm right?

Please play English 50% forward.. for goodness sake! It’s more beneficial to the team. Martin needs to come in. Cordy out.
Martin's ruckwork isn't better than Sweets forward work. English is clearly our number 1 ruckman if you're brining in a 2nd ruck it would logically be Sweet

It seems that we have not addressed any of our problems from last year. Very dissappointing.
Gardener and Cordy... gee wiz! What I would do to bring back Dale Morris, Brian Lake and even Shaggy Hargraves.
We are just so shit down back.

Yeah, I've added my 12-digit barcode number. It only allows me to select Member Upgrade which is priced from $10 - $40.
Ring the club now and chat through it - they are very helpful and you usually get straight through.
Carlton are up and flying so at this late stage I'd say tickets might be scarce.

Tim O'Brien would a huge in if they choose play him in the seniors this week. Despite being only 193cm he is an excellent 2nd ruck option due to his athleticism. He would be a great chop out for English for 5-10mins at a time.

I'm fairly certain that Tim O'Brien actually played in the VFL practice match last Friday.

Tim O’Brien was brought in to play intercept defender. Because he can doesn’t mean he is any good. He’s not an excellent 2nd ruck option at all. He’s an average at best forward and hasn’t got the frame to play ruck. Sweet is the only current option yet for some reason we didn’t play him preseason

Yeah if anyone actually watched O’Brien underperform at the hawks for the better part of the last 10 years, it’s really not ideal that we’re expecting so much of him right now - in saying that he has some great attributes and might thrive but it’s more likely that he continues to suck rather than magically comes good
